Hi I had meant to get this done to post yesterday for Trans Day of Visibility, but I was busy much of yesterday and only finished this today

So uh! Happy belated trans day of visibility :D i celebrated by drawing the character I’ve recently decided is now my sona lol

They’re also transmasc (which was a decision I made while designing them when I included the pouch!)

Fun fact the pink on the flag is green. Like seriously it’s literally green. I love colors

OC posting a bit 🙏

I haven’t named them yet, but I’m leaning towards Quincy. Also thinking they might end up becoming a sona of mine lol. I’ve grown fond

(Drawings are ordered from most recent to earliest— you can kinda tell I was slowly figuring out the design)

They’re a wallaby that’s also kinda lizard and kinda alien, which I think is neat

Probably going to doodle them more seeing as I’ve already drawn three fullbodies in about two days. Usually I keep my OC stuff largely offline, but I was just too excited about this little guy I think.

The first image was one I drew today, and I really focused on taking the qualities I liked from the concept sketch (3rd image) and the first test of the design “in scene”. Each one kinda progressively built on the prior, but each repetition i tried to emphasize fluid expression and a certain amount of simplicity in shape. That’s why the legs took me so long to figure out, because I kept trying to find some way to balance anatomical structure without conceding fluidity (and leaning too far into rigidity). Honestly, it’s kinda fun working on designs like that and making small tweaks in the shapes as I find what works and doesn’t in each drawing until I end up with something I’m really happy with :)

Anyway. They’re just my little guy and I really like them
