Like I can see it for Jason, since he was her “perfect little champion,” but other than that… Hera didn’t give a damn about either of them. What I wouldn’t do is make a kid feel bad for trying to shoulder a burden that you’re willingly passing off to him. Thalia spent an awfully long time talking about their duties as children of the Big Three, but dropped all of those responsibilities the second she saw an opportunity…

She just sucked. Genuinely.

I love her character, but how do you prance around after essentially being dead for ~5 years, talking about how being a child of the Big Three is a burden that needs to be respected, and then bail because you don’t wanna do it…

The only options outside of her were 15 yo Percy Jackson and 12-13 yo Nico di Angelo
