This one totally speaks for itself. There are times I think the 7″ containing this and “Wings” might be the greatest piece of vinyl ever pressed.

This video is a key Fall artifact because of how damn funny it is. The group’s videos struggled to capture them because it wasn’t a natural mode for them - they’re often unintentionally amusing due the sheer awkwardness that was regularly visible in the group’s faces. It could be the nature of how this was made and by whom but everyone seems to be having at least a modicum of fun - not a look often associated with this era of The Fall. Maybe Smith was in high spirits having not long met, married and made a Fall member out of Brix. Anyway, less yap, more Fall. “Kicker Conspiracy” is the group at their imperishable best.
