thinking abt chris killing alternate self because he's wrought with self hate and he doesn't trust himself or his own judgement, even internally. the way we watch our chris cope with drugs and we've seen the way he used to react with primarily violence, the very way alternate chris is described.

vs emilia not even recognizing her alternate self, in some ways paralleling her internal disconnect from herself. alternate emilia, albeit a cog in the nazi machine, is this version of herself who is capable of being emotionally in-tune with herself and letting her walls down even after she's been hurt by chris, something emilia feels is so out of reach for herself that she's almost given up on trying.

vs adrian who feels like he's shifting into more independence, immediately seeking out his alternate self and having a mutual trust in himself. alternate adrian mirrors adrian in every way save for his independence from peacemaker, which i think our adrian may find himself being forced to embrace for...various reasons.

like yea i know its the same map to the point they even block off caves u cant go into but like

the whole point of snoozaland is the roguelike style of gameplay, troves are kinda similar but theyre still timed and u get to bring all ur normal gear in there

like idk i think they coulda done it without the timer
