anyway i know yall come here for fl stuff so pardon the outburst

while there are some cheaper copies of yw2 from the looks of it, a lot of copies are 100-500$

i even asked my gf (since she's in brazil) and it'd cost her about as much as she makes in a month

youre not real fans anyway u didnt play game that wasnt released in the west, game that wasnt released in the west, game that is only available digitally on a storefront that shut down years ago, game that is now $800 on ebay, game that wasnt released in the west. so play those first idiots ^w^

#come over here leave all ur pre existing games at home and spend time here trying to play those games legally i'll wait

all of this is from earlier in the month (may 13th), but i'm only just now hearing about it since i only follow FL tags and i dont remember anyone posting about it? maybe bc it was mostly about yokai watch that they even said something (i believe? it was about a spanish fan remake of the 2nd game)

western fans cried out specially since it's very hard to get certain games over here while japanese fans backed up level-5

in fact they have an english statement (this one) and a japanese one both in two different tweets

just reading the comments from both are starkly different

western fans are all talking about how all they want is the games to be put out in the west so they dont have to hand over hundreds of dollars for a game that cost like 40$ in 2013

and the spanish fans? they're throwing insults

meanwhile on the japanese tweet you have people of course calling western fans stupid, they'll never forgive them, they will support level-5 for official remakes only, the best way to support creators is to buy the official stuff only, this is westerns fans fault, and for japanese companies to stick with a japan first idealization and ignore the west since they dont even sell well over there anyway

theres a few of them calling out level-5 for using ai, but very little actually disagreeing with the statement compared to western players

#this of course brings up the whole if buying isnt owning then piracy isnt stealing #companies frequently shutting down fan projects and such even if said stuff is for IPs being basically unused for years #archival work being seen the same way #(i saw a creator i like for a fan game completely stop a wiki from hosting songs from the game while #also being like i made my own game and im not letting awful terrible western fans play it bc of it)#not their direct words but u get the idea #mind u theyre only ONE of the many people in the project #japanese fans will also speak out against modding as well #ect ect.....#ALSO THE FACT THAT L5 IS USING AI WHICH IS A STEALING MACHINE-

The fantasy life twitter posted some art to celebrate that it’s been a year since fantasy life i released!!! This is crazy it still feels like the game just released a few months ago to me….
