It's Halloween

I thought Lupin said he was going to make us dress up.

-Goemon didn't get up when he noticed Lupin.-

"That was fast."

-At the cafe, Goemon sat off in a corner with a paper cup of hot tea which he spent all of his money on. It was too hot, and bitter. The fragile green tea had been burnt by the inexperience of the person behind the counter. 

He gave the tea a silent apology.

He briefly wondered if he should have packed a bento.-

-A small, clean piece of paper was left on the kitchen table. On it, two words written neatly in ink : 

'I'm off.' -
