Kid!Merthur Arthur meeting Merlin somehow when they were kids and somehow they keep meeting idk how that would happen but they basically become best friends and Merlin decides to tell Arthur about his magic and Arthur is like “>:0 no, magic is bad” and Merlin is like “No it isn’t” and since Arthur is a little besotted fool he immediatly says “oh okay” and they continue on being best friends, maybe they get separated later on because of Arthur’s prince duties and Merlin’s help with his mom and when they meet again it’s- I don’t have words for it but they immediatly click back into place and Arthur starts regretting all his life decisions because he is still most definetly in love with Merlin
