Nelliel's big brown eyes lit up immediately upon the sight of the bag of candies. Like any other child, she too had a very big fondness of anything sweet and sugary when in her small form. So no wonder that no sooner than Renji had pulled the treasure out of his sleeve, the small Arrancar began reaching out for it with her tiny hands. "Gimme! Gimme! Nel Tu wants the candy!"

And once the desired bag of delicious treats was in her possession, Nell began munching on the sweets. "Mmm... Those are so good and sweet! Far better than the dry biscuits Aizen had stashed in the palace pantries! Nel Tu likes those much better!" She continued gobbling up the candy, while Renji began preaching to her about dental hygiene and health. "Nel Tu has strong teeth! Nothing can ruin Nel Tu's teeth, they're as hard and sturdy as rocks, see?" Opening her mouth, Nell then pointed at the prominent canines peering over her lower lip.

It felt good to be finally understood by someone, so Nelliel could be in full sentiment with the Shinigami's annoyance at the way people expected him to give a rational explanation to every single thing he did or said. "Ah, yes, Nel Tu hates when that happens! Then they act as if ya don't know what yer talking about or as if yer talking about imaginary things and as a result, refuse to take ya seriously." Nell nodded and heaved a long sigh, relating fully to what the red-head was saying about his own experience. "They'd say: 'Nel Tu, this is adults business! Ye could never understand, so better skedaddle back to yer child stuff and leave this to the grown ups!' and refuse to let Nel Tu help or give her opinion on whatever the problem is." Similarly to what Renji did before her, the female Arrancar began imitating whoever the line must've belonged to, which could've either been Pesche or Dondochakka by the looks of it.

She didn't fully grasp the notion or idea of a handshake in this form, but given that even in her kid size, Nell could easily pick up on social cues, she was quick to understand what was wanted of her and she gladly shook Renji's hand back. "Yer cool too, Renji-san! Nel Tu feels like she can truly be herself when she's around ya! Ya never judge Nel Tu or make her feel any less than those around her!" Which was a fact she truly appreciated about him. Renji was one of the very few people who actually took her seriously and didn't only treat her like an immature child, even when she was small and goofy looking in this regressed state.

"But corgis are adorable, Hime-chan!" The small Arrancar would protest, having thought that Orihime might've been looking down upon her physical appearance. "They are very cute, so even if Hime-chan would be a corgi, Nel Tu would still think that she is the cutest and most beautiful corgi in the whole world! Because Hime-chan is the prettiest!" With a confident huff, Nell would then go on and hug her friend, burying her face into the fabric of her soft dress. "If Itsygo has said mean stuff about yer height or butt, Nel Tu will teach him a lesson. He shouldn't speak mean stuff to a lady!"

*Hands her an award for Cutest Arrancar*

Nelliel blinks at the strange looking cloaked individual. She couldn't understand what they wanted at first, until they pulled out a shiny and glittery looking ribbon award from under one of their sleeves. "Oooooh! Pretty!" The child's eyes went big with awe and surprise, seemingly intrigued by the offer. "Is this for Nel Tu?" She asked, not knowing if she should accept it or not, but eventually Nelliel takes the ribbon, its size vastly bigger in her tiny hands.

"Cutest Arrancar..." Nell reads aloud the words scribbled onto it's glittery center and her smile grows even bigger. "That's right! Nel Tu is the cutest Arrancar in Hueco Mundo! Yer right, grey looking brother!" The child seems fully pleased by the gift. "Nel Tu is very grateful for yer gift and she will cherish it for the rest of her life! Nel Tu will now wear this ribbon with pride and confidence, because she is the cutest of them all!"

Splits his chocolate bar with her

Nell's eyes go big at the sight of the delicious sweet delight, reaching with her tiny hands to grab at the half Ichigo held in his hand to give her. "Gimme gimme! Nel Tu wants the chocolate!" She really was just like a lil kid when it came to the things she loved and enjoyed.

“Are you feeling lonely, perhaps?”

The small child looked up at the red-haired woman, small beads of water stuck to the corners of her rich lashes. Nelliel had been feeling lonely for a while, ever since her and her brothers had been separated in one of the many sandstorms taking place in the Hueco Mundo desert. She tried to act strong and brave, but perhaps, some feelings weren't that easy to hide. "Yes, Nel Tu is sad and lonely..." The small Arrancar sniffled and rubbed one of her eyes. "Nel Tu misses her brothers and is worried for them..." Nelliel did trust Ichigo that he will eventually return her brothers back to her, but till then, all she could do was wait and try not to overthink things too much. "Will you keep Nel Tu company until Itsygo returns?"
