I'm posting this because we have been talking so much ablut the kid cupboard and casting Seb.
I love kid actors, because sometimes they just sit there, looking confused as to why all the adults around them are acting weird.
But then they say their lines like good actors do, and then look pleased at themselves for remembering them.
I just watched the trailer for the Harry Potter Reunion and this shot of the trio is so adorable!

Nothing throws me more off kilter than when a kid actor's voice changes. Examples? Jack Dylan Grazer and Noah Jupe. In IT and Shazam Jack Dylan Grazer sounds like a kid (a very hyper kid) and then suddenly in Luca his voice is deep. Same with Noah Jupe in Wonder and The Night Manager and then suddenly deeper in A Quiet Place 2 . I know it's part of life and all but it's disorienting? The only one that sort of has stayed the same is Jacob Tremblay.
With time travel it could be possible to make really cool series or movies where the main character can be seen as a kid and the kid version could be played by the same actor from a earlier time.
Everybody is talking about how Netflix wants us to believe that some twenty or thirty something is a like a teenager, but nobody is talking about El Chavo del Ocho trying to make us believe that a bunch of middle aged dudes were eight year old kids.
Like yeah, nothing to look here, just a bunch of kiddos, please ignore the wrinkles and the unusual size, please just keep enjoying our marvelous sitcom...
