Apothecary AU - Past Passive Nightmare, Dream, & Nim wings from behind

Here's an easy link to the Apothecary_AU_Blog so you can all go look at the Apothecary AU stuff without having to scroll through all the other stuff that I post here on my main blog.

Okay so here's the back of past Dream, Nightmare, and Nim so far. Still need to add some color later but here's how it all looks so far, plus still need to get the shape of Past Passive Nightmare's wings at different angles figured out. That and get the angle for Nim's head branch figured out. Hmmm... maybe I should use Blender and make a 3D model of Nim? To help with better figuring out how the tree growing out of her head is suppose to look like at different angles. Hmmm....

I made this reference piece so I'd have a better reference piece of how past Dream, Nightmare, and Nim's wings are suppose to look like, when your looking at them from behind. Like if the top parts of the wings over lap with the bottom, or if the top and bottom connect basically at the base and don't over lap each half when you look at their backs.

Especially since I realized "... Oh I don't have a good reference of what their wings look like from behind. I'm gonna need that if I'm ever gonna use these versions of them for any reason. Mini comic wise, flashback, or any other reason. Welp time to make some reference pieces!"

Past Passive Nightmare's wing idea-

I'm still trying to figure out how past Nightmare's crescent moon Fairy wings (I accidentally put Fae instead of fairy in my little quick doodle notes there) are suppose to look like from behind when their open. So they look a little weird right now. They'll look better with time.

So I was thinking of maybe having past Nightmare's wings act more like moth wings. Where they close nearly completely when he's not using them.

The wings being down and out of the way, so he can look behind himself a little easier, due to the shape of his wings.

Kinda like how moths like these do it. With their wings closed and on their back until they need to use them.

At least that's what I'm thinking of doing when it comes to Nightmare's wings.

Dream did have meltdowns in a hidden clearing after spending hours with the villagers pushing him around.
