concert story- COIN

michelle and i continued with our tradition of pre-concert smoothies then waited for the bus. i thought the concert started at 7, but it actually started at 9, so we wandered around coventry for a bit before jumping in line outside. 

we saw kid runner in october when they opened for the mowglis, so we went to their merch table to chat. they were so sweet and gave us a bunch of tattoos they had, and we talked about new jersey and all that fun stuff.

we also talked to keeps for a bit, and they were super nice as well! the lead singer introduced himself and we shook hands and talked about their ~~aesthetic~~ two of the other members looked like chase, so in a moment of pure #yoloswag, i went up to them and said if you guys molded together into one person you would look JUST like chase. 

COIN itself were fucking incredible. i have an intensive history with them which i detailed in a letter to chase. the energy was awesome and everyone was jumping around; i havent gone that hard at a concert in a LONG time. 

afterwards, we waited for them to say hi! Chase came out and I was like sorry idk if you're a hugger but I'm going in so we hugged then I handed him the letter i wrote and he said he was really excited to read it. I told him I've been wanting to see coin since jr yr of high school and I'm in college now, and he said so excitedly THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME?! :)))  

I asked him to write out lyrics (lately I've been) and he said oh like the jacket?! And I said yes (but in my head, I was like or like the song you wrote lol) so he sat down and asked if I wanted it in cursive like the jacket, so I said he had creative license. He wrote it in cursive a bunch of times and he kept messing up and shaking his head and I felt bad for holding other people up who were waiting to meet him, but it was great. I said I had a wanted a tattoo of the lyrics, and he got so excited and asked where so I showed him, and he said write it small!! And to send him pictures when I got it. We hugged so many times it was wonderful. He asked for my name and we took a pic and I was like ok we gotta do the peace signs!! So we did and it was a beautiful moment and he was so sweet! 

Also Ryan's family was there which was awesome. And when Chaz said Ryan was from Cleveland during the set, we all started chanting Ryan and it was great. He was wearing his own jersey though so lol. 

tldr; ridiculously fun dance party.
