send IMPRESSED for a scene from my muse's past in which they tried to impress someone, successfully or not

Sammy was always happy to tell anyone she came across various animal facts. Most seemed to be impressed by her knowledge, whether or not they were actually interested. Though her worst moment came when she got into a heated sort-of trivia contest with another kid who knew animal facts, one that ended with the other kid taking a swing at her and she hitting back harder than expected.

That was Sammy's first and only experience with suspension. Her parents stressed for her to let such things slide and that while she had the right to defend herself, it would be better not to use so much force in the future as the other kid had ended up with a broken jaw in the hospital and she had just barely escaped being expelled thanks to her mother talking down the principal and teacher.

A blinded horse with a demon middle eye snorted at Sammy, knickering slightly. His ears flickered, curious about the little girl.

Sammy looked over the horse, it wasn't like any she had seen before. She wondered why it had three eyes and why two of them seemed to be blind. In fact the more she looked at the horse, the stranger it seemed. Still, it didn't seem dangerous, at least no more so than any other horse. She moved a little closer, reaching out her hand for it to smell her.

"Hi, you don't have to be afraid of me."

Well, there was an IM thread involving @babesnaxes OC Roxanne convinced little kid Sammy to help her get out of house arrest (long story) in order for them to sneak off to go to the movies thinking they'd make it back before Sammy's parents returned home. They weren't successful in this endeavor and Sammy was essentially grounded for a little while. XD

What is your muse’s earliest memory? (for Sammy)

That would meeting her dad for the first time as a baby. This memory requires context.

Fiona was still under investigation for the disappearance of some of her fellow officers (they were corrupt and she murdered them after every legal avenue failed), she didn't want there to be another battle with mass casualties for the police force on account of Matt, so she was gone from him for a year. During which she found out she was pregnant with Matt's child. She decided to keep the baby and be cautious until the investigation died down and it was safe to bring baby Sammy into the outside world. She then decided it was worthwhile to try to find Matt again, whether that be for reconciliation or to close that chapter of her life and raise their daughter on her own.

Matt sensed the baby before he saw her and Sammy also started acted as if she was looking for something, which confused Fiona until she found Matt. Sammy was excited to see her father, laughing and wiggling around in her mother's arms. Fiona was surprised that baby Sammy seemed to know and anticipate the meeting, though she would later discover all of them had a strong connection and bond that translated to a degree of psychic awareness regarding each other.

Sammy recalls being super happy around her dad and that she made his hat soggy from biting it after he put it in her hands. She remembers a feeling of great love between her parents. A few specific moments and mostly feeling based impressions overall. She was surprised to learn later that babies that young don't generally have much permanent memory, if at all. It was one of many signs where she began to understand she was not entirely like other kids.
