Part Two of the Serial Killer AU
One night during his usual watch, Steve is standing across the street, hidden from view on the abandon fire escape when he sees something that causes his blood to boil. Bucky - he learned his name once when he was out with a blonde man and a red-haired female - has had the same partner ever since Steve saw him that one night. His partner - Steve thinks he remembers Bucky calling him Brock, but the only thing that Steve thinks to call him now is dead fucker - full on decks Bucky, causing the smaller male to drop to the ground.
He doesn’t remember everything in perfect detail, but when the storm clears from his mind, Steve is standing over the bloodied remains of Brock. Blood is dripping from his hands, and there’s even some sliding down the side of his face. When he raises his head, Bucky is cowering against the wall, mouth agape and a dark purple bruise already forming on his jaw and body covered in odd but beautiful patterns of splatter. Steve moves quickly, but Bucky screams before he reaches him. Silencing the man with his hand, Steve makes the decision in an instant. This one is coming with him...
