Tameside Council Budget Consultation - #YourServicesYourViews
With £104 Million cut by government to Tameside Council since 2010, we now face cuts of a further £90 Million before 2020 - this is the equivalent to around £2000 per household lost due to cuts by this Tory government.
These Conservative cuts are putting at risk every service Tameside Council offers. This includes vital services such as adult mental health services used by the vulnerable but it also includes our “visible services” such as waste collection and road maintenance.
Yesterday (29 Sept 15) Tameside Council launched it’s budget consultation following from the success last year which saw 3000 resident interactions.
