Organisers say around 8,000 attended the Kiev parade - up from 5,000 last year.
On a happier note! A very successful year for Pride in Kiev in spite of nationalist protesters trying their worst. Especially a fan of rainbow balaclavas and the showy Ukrainian fashions!

kinda sad i couldn’t participate in the lgbt+ pride march today but i’m glad it happened and no one got hurt
pretty sure it’s all political and has nothing to do with social justice and stuff, but it’s still a good thing isn’t it
