Ahh what’s the disguiser about? It looks interesting!
djsfksjdffds aaaah! it’s a chinese spy drama set in 1939 shanghai with the japanese occupation. it focuses on the Ming family, starting with the youngest brother - Ming Tai who’s kidnapped & trained to become a spy for the KMT and then, you have the oldest bro, Ming Lou, holding an important position in the new government where his loyalties are questionable... he always get you thinking what side he’s truly on... the other family members, you’ll have to see for yourself! ;D
I enjoy the spy-genre in this really, the cast is A+++, and the Ming Family will give you feels no matter what, and we got women who kick ass too. And hell... everyone is hella fashionable in their nifty suits/outfits/etc. so if you like this sort of thing, give it a try?? :D
My 「 @anjizu 」 teeny KiyoKuro (+Nigou) collection!
I’ve been meaning to sort my straps and key chains for a while and I’ve finally gotten around to getting all my collection together including all my super adorable kykr fan merch by @kiiyoshi - and so I thought I would show you guys my pocket sized Kiyoshi & Kuroko collection! ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
It’s a hunger he can’t explain. An urge he can’t kill. His fingers twitch but they remain in his pockets as they walk along.
Kiyoshi, for once, is silent, and the cars passing by fill the silence between them.
In another timeline, Kuroko would be visiting his parents, having dinner with his family, but the last meal they had was breakfast and then everything tasted like iron and vomit.
I showed you mine, Kuroko wants to say. A childish resentment burns a hole in his stomach but what is another bit of emptiness on someone who has been hollowed?
“You’re upset,” Kiyoshi finally says, without stopping and Kuroko recognizes once again that he is walking along a monster.
There are words Kuroko wants to say but knows he can’t. A wrong word, a wrong action and he would be dead before he has done his job.
“I’m sorry,” Kiyoshi adds.
Kuroko remains silent, somehow relieved that the conversation is over and somehow feeling starved, as if he had been promised something and given nothing.
Kiyoshi knows what Kuroko’s face looks like. Kuroko let him see the cluster of his deformations, a mess of misplaced muscled and twisted skin. A wound that told Kuroko that his voice is meaningless.
But Kiyoshi keeps his right eye, or whatever lies in its place, shut and covered, and Kuroko wants to undo the past, to undo at least the times in which he let the older man see what his face looked like.
He wants to touch Kiyoshi’s skin, feel the injury. He wonders if he has scarred similar as he has. If Kiyoshi turns into a monstrosity the way Kuroko does. If he is as ugly as Kuroko (knows he) is.
And there is something else in the hidden wound. Was Kiyoshi hurt like him? Was it the same hand? And is it true?
Does a traitor pose as his mentor?
Traitor. There is something funny about that word, as if there were something to betray, as if within all the blood and the lies there were honor.
It’s all a joke, Kuroko had read once in a play, with nobody to laugh at it.*
But if it is true, if Kiyoshi spoke, would he do it again?
What does he know? What would he be willing to say to Kuroko?
What would it take?
Kiyoshi is a puzzle Kuroko can’t complete and one of the missing pieces is right in front of him. It would take just a single motion of uncover it.
But it is not that simple. It is never that simple.
Kiyoshi is smarter than he tries to come across, folding in smiles questions he avoided answering, relying on one single eye a stare that makes Kuroko think that he knows. That he knows all about Kuroko’s past and intentions and that one day Kuroko will blink and face an even worse death that the ones he has witnessed.
He smiles, despite himself. Kiyoshi gives him an odd look, as if he could see through the fabric covering Kuroko’s mouth, but says nothing.
It is too late now, to late to back down. Kuroko knows too much and yet not enough, not what he wants to know, but even if he hadn’t stepped this far, he could have never walked away from this.
This is his fucked-up definition of a life. All he has achieved. All he has.
Defiant, he looks at the other man’s face.
I’ll see your face.
I’ll see everything.
Kuroko has turned into his wound, he is scarred skin, pulled muscle, something that should have died that day but didn’t.
And there is no humor when he smiles and thinks of the endless outcomes, of how every possible final is written in blood.
He grins, anyway, where nobody can see him, where nobody can know.
His hands twitch thinking of eyepatches, and knives and bullets.
Perhaps when he sees Kiyoshi he is seeing the man that holds the answers, perhaps he is seeing a dead man, his victim. Or his murderer.
The labyrinth they are walking is painted in black and smells like iron.
Lets talk au Victor backstory since canon isnt gonna be giving it to us. Was Victor just bought for a loaf of bread like Haji? I kind of want to milk the angst for what its worth since its genre-appropriate. I want to think that he has some background in performing or entertainment and it can account for the other half of his personality thats not centered around Yuuri LOL maybe a runaway from a nightmare circus, or a homeless orphan who raked whatever he could get 👀 👀 👀
Honestly Viktor being in a circus is a horror genre in and of itself like I’ve never heard of anything pleasant that’s come from a circus but Viktor being a clown is pretty much canon to begin with But you know it can be a combination of them??? ODDLY ENOUGH I haven’t thought about it that much which is surprising considering I love backstories???? What was I thinking--- BUT ANYWAY tbh I can totally see Viktor as a ham street performer that kind of scrapes by despite the fact that his talents always bring a decent sized audience?? Like he definitely has more of a personality that Haji who was basically a walking piece of cardboard and if I’m not mistaken Haji was also a performer? I vaguely remember him saying something about being trained in singing and dancing so it fits in with Ye Olde Blood+ Lore is Viktor is about the same I guess? What I’m saying is if Haji could be entertaining then so could Viktor
But then that leaves the question of if he has a family like Haji did or if he’s alone??? Or if he just travels with a bunch of people that aren’t really his family?If he has a family or he’s with a group then the outcome could be like Haji where his family falls on hard times and they pawn him off? But if he’s alone then I guess he’d just get kidnapped or something of that nature? Or he’s just offered food/shelter/etc in exchange for his services and he’s given very few details but he takes the chance anyway (because apparently that’s a thing a hungry and naive youngster would do) I guess we just have to decide on a scale of 1-10 how shady Yuuri’s caretakers are and what purpose to Yuuri did they see Viktor fulfillingand that purpose’s importance since.....lmao it’s...probably...not the same reason they brought Haji to the zoo in Blood+ lol ;;;
Also how old is he going to be when he comes to the zoo anyway is he going to be a tot like Haji or are we sticking with Viktor’s appearance in yoi and he makes his appearance as a tween pop star?
I like that you do your best to reply to every reply and ask! I'm a creator too and I'm so happy when people leave comments and tags on my work, but sometimes I'm so scatterbrained and I lose track of replies easily T_T I applaud you
Thank you so much! ;A; I am incredibly scatterbrained too, and forgetful on top of that, and I have a very tiny social interaction tolerance ;A; But one of my favorite things about Tumblr is that despite its many flaws, it’s the best platform I’ve found so far for interacting with my followers. I read tags/reblogs/replies constantly, I can get asks, and there’s the DM option too. I love interacting with people here (most of the time >.>;), and tbh I wouldn’t create nearly as much or have the motivation to tackle such huge projects if I didn’t know there were others interested as well. For that, I am so, so grateful to my supporters on here, whether they send me asks/replies or simply like and reblog. All of it matters.
(from here down, I’m sorta using your ask as an excuse to explain how I answer, for those people still waiting on replies ;A;)
To show my appreciation, I try very, very hard to reply to as many asks/replies as I can, while at the same time trying to balance how people probably don’t want constant reply spams on their dash. I’ve said this before, but I restrict myself to only posting replies during a few hours every day, all queued at least 10 minutes apart, all tagged for easy blocking, and just pray it doesn’t annoy people too much ^ ^;
But again, tiny social interaction tolerance as pointed out above, and I gotta self-care (very bad at that) and draw and possibly do other things too, so I only spend a few hours responding to replies a day ^ ^;; This means that they inevitably pile up, and some replies, like my reply to yours, end up super late (ten days! ;A; I’m sorry!!).
In terms of how to guarantee a reply (eventually), sending an ask is best bc then it’s just in my ask box, and I’ll work my way up to it. I try to get most replies too, though I occasionally skip one word/very short replies and hope people are okay if I don’t respond to those ^ ^; I didn’t use to be able to do this because it takes SO LONG to scroll down the activity feed, but X-kit has a super handy activity sorting tool that my friend pointed out to me, and it’s made my life INFINITELY easier. I still end up screenshotting the ones that are too far down though ^ ^;
Things I probably won’t reply to unless I happen to see them go down my dash in real time are comments on reblogs, because when I try to sort on my activity feed it shows ALL reblogs and it can be hard to find the ones with comments ;A; I hope people understand >.<;
I am also VERY, VERY, VERY TERRIBLE at replying to DMs. For one, I don’t like Tumblr’s DM system very much, it can be hard to tell who I’ve responded to or not etc. and once it goes down the history, they can become very hard to find >.<;;;; I have gotten so many incredibly sweet messages there and I am so grateful to everyone who sends them, but again given that I spend a few hours daily replying to just asks and replies alone, I sometimes just don’t have the mental or social energy to put into holding multiple full private conversations ;_; So unless we’re actively conversing about something, I am very sorry if I do not respond, I sincerely hope you understand >.<; If you’ve sent me an ask/reply, I am probably working my way up to it, thank you very much for your patience ;A;
(note, if you would like me to reply to an ask in private, which I sometimes do, just put a note in it and I’ll respond in private ^ ^ otherwise I usually post)
Bro, what if for the longest time Victor refused to take on true form because the first time he did it Yuuri was visibly Freaked Out (like Haji) and when someone else brings it up, he tells them his clothes are expensive and he cant afford to bust out of them in violent transformations every other day. "people are dying, victor" "ok but this is armani"
THAT’S JUST SO OBNOXIOUSLY VIKTOR I LOVE IT especially since yuuri actually has a reason to be outright terrified of Viktor’s true form unlike Haji’s lame hand and wing combo that was apparently just Too Stressful for Saya People would totally believe Viktor’s fashion excuse for the longest time but in all honesty this is Viktor whose shiny cheeks made an appearance in half of the yoi episodes he probably has no problem blowing up his suit and being left as naked as the day he was born and as soon as Yuuri gets over his initial dislike of Viktor’s true form everyone is going to probably see viktor naked at least once.
Also I’m glad even though he’s fighting monsters Viktor fights in armani because really during yuuri’s hibernation periods he has plenty of time to just accumulate wealth so he can spoil yuuri with good food and not ugly ties when he wakes up. True love is killing vampires with your lover while wearing expensive designer brands
Wouldnt it be hecked up if Yuuri cut off Victor's hand while it was still wearing the paired ring like imagine that
You come in my ask box
You send me this terrible message—
this is the worst thing ever but I knew it was bound to happen we were talking about cute things like ice skating and Epic Food Journeys too much for us to not reach this zone of Really Bad
BUT LISTEN he’d feel so guilty and heartbroken at the same time I’m sad FOR HIM please protect dear Vitya he’s doing his best…
Like, not only is he somewhat directly responsible for Yuuri going Rampage™ and taking out like an entire village but Yuuri ends up not even recognizing him and just??? Lops his ring off??? The ring that he’s probably never taken off since they exchanged them??? His most prized possession other than the cello he carries around like a Fool??? this is the worst thing ever how could you send me this I’m a relatively decent person
I hate this. But I agree. You gotta draw that Good Old Monster Viktor I’m ready buddy I have my bib on and everything
