This is a c. 1990s Platinum #3776 black cartridge / converter fountain pen with a kikumon (16 leaved chrysanthemum) crest on the cap face below the clip. The design is not the more elaborate imperial design but is like what appears on a Japanese passport. The nib is stamped #3776 over the Platinum logo and has no hallmark. The clip and trim are gold plated. The #3776 series, named for the height in meters of Mt. Fuji, the highest peak in Japan, is the longest running line for the company, being continuously modified and improved, and is still in production today. #pencollecting #fountainpen #platinum #platinumpen #platinumjapan #mtfuji #kikumon #penhero https://www.instagram.com/p/CP_IBbBjFzd/?utm_medium=tumblr
