actual reasonable task : control the climate to be optimal for the general concerns pertinent to human society basically change is inevitable and already happened stop appealing to the idea of a singular unmoving nature. there are plenty of reasons species not going extinct can be useful! but you have to fucking consider them, and theres plenty of reason the climate effects of excess co2 is harmful, its harmful to people.
