Would kill-a-mothes see cats as baby kill-a-pillers?
Kill-a-moths have an insane sense of smell. So even if their looks make them think cats are babies, the smell will let them know they are not their babies. If you were to find a way to make the cats smell like kill-a-pillers though, they will be completely fooled. Heck, they'll think a completely different species is somehow their baby if they smell right, even if they logically know it doesn't make sense, that's how important smell is in their perception of the world.
