Canon Receipts: Eyes & Ears Confirms the Full Kim Possible World Showcase Pavilion Order (2009)
I wanted to share something a little special from my personal archive — an original, physical copy of Eyes & Ears, the official internal newsletter for Walt Disney World Cast Members.
This extremely rare issue is Volume 39, Number 3 (Jan. 29 – Feb. 11, 2009) and contains a full feature article titled:
“MISSION: FUN — Disney’s Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure unveiled at Epcot”
This was not a guest-facing publication — Eyes & Ears was distributed only to Cast Members inside Walt Disney World, making it a rare primary source for park history and canon implementation details.
Section #1 — What This Confirms (In Print)
Within the Eyes & Ears article (Vol. 39, No. 3, Jan. 29–Feb. 11, 2009), the following line explicitly lists the seven World Showcase pavilions used for Disney’s Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure, in order:
#1 Mexico, #2 Norway, #3 China, #4 Germany, #5 Japan, #6 France, and #7 United Kingdom
This sequence is independently verified by an official Disney World website introduction published on January 22, 2009, which describes guest missions taking place across:
"...Mexico Pavilion, Norway Pavilion, China Pavilion, Germany Pavilion, Japan Pavilion, France Pavilion, and the United Kingdom Pavilion."
(archived via the Wayback Machine)

Together, these two contemporaneous sources — a Cast Member–only internal publication (Eyes & Ears) and Disney’s own guest-facing website — confirm that the pavilion order was intentional, fixed, and canonically defined, not random or interchangeable.
This matches — in exact order — the pavilion sequence I previously documented and posted about here:

That earlier post breaks down which supervillains appeared in each pavilion, aligned with both park implementation and Kim Possible series canon:
Mexico Pavilion — Drakken × Shego
Norway Pavilion — Camille Léon
China Pavilion — Monkey Fist
Germany Pavilion — Professor Dementor
Japan Pavilion — Killer Bebes
France Pavilion — Señor Senior, Senior × Señor Senior, Junior
United Kingdom Pavilion — Duff Killigan
Section #2 Physical Details (for scale & authenticity)
Magazine size: 11 × 17 inches
(full tabloid format — not a flyer or insert)
Printed, full-color cover with grayscale interior feature
Official Disney publication ©2009 Disney
Includes original Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure branding and logo
This is not a scan from an online archive — it’s a physical, contemporaneous document from the period when the attraction launched.
Section #3 Why This Matters
There’s been a lot of confusion over the years about:
Which villains appeared where
Whether the sequence was “random”
This article makes it clear that the attraction was structured, intentional, and canon-aligned, both geographically and narratively.
Sometimes the cleanest answer isn’t speculation — it’s paperwork.
This is Part 2 of a seven part archival series where I’m documenting and preserving Disney’s Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure (2009–2012) using primary sources, park documentation, and canon analysis.
