Team Possible Recruitment Center: Step 2 — Report to the Team Possible Field Station - Disney's EPCOT (January 28, 2009 - May 18, 2012)

K.P.W.S.A Tumblr Series Part 5/7

Across Epcot’s World Showcase, there were 3x Team Possible Field Stations, cleverly disguised to blend into the pavilion’s theming.

At your assigned time, you reported in like a real agent— just you and the mission.

At the field station:

You turned in your Mission Pass

A cast member activated your mission

You were issued your Kimmunicator

And you became a part of Team Possible

From this point on, the park stopped being just scenery—it became part of the game. Storefronts, murals, props, and even cast members suddenly mattered. Wade, Kim, and Ron would begin guiding you through your mission, tailored to the country and villain you were assigned.

Being Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable’s Best Friend Would Include…

You’re (Y/N) Staunch, a freelance troubleshooter and one of the lifelong best friends of Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable.

You’ve known Kim since you were in diapers. One of your parents works alongside Kim’s dad as a rocket scientist. Your other parent is the secretary of defence (they travel a lot for work).

When you both started daycare, you met Ron. You were initially put off by the boy’s quirky behaviour, but quickly you developed an affection for his humorous antics.

In middle school, you and Kim decide to set up a babysitting business and create a website “Possible.com". You mutually agree it’s better than “Staunch.com”

Due to a typing error, you and Kim were contacted by a Mr. McHenry who was in trouble, and was trying to contact a different group of heroes named "Team Impossible".

Fortunately, you and Kim had been taking gymnastics and studying martial arts together since you were both two. (Kim wanted martial arts, you wanted gymnastics, you compromised).

Your two’s recognition as heroes grew until you were being contacted for help by people all over the world.

Despite being a freelance hero, you are still a teenager and your parents require you to go to school. You attend Middleton high school.

You’re on track to be valedictorian, having an impressively high IQ. Additionally, you are captain of the boy’s lacrosse team. You do have your rivals, Bonnie, and the captain of the soccer team.

Being the one to introduce Wade to team Possible. For the longest time, you're the only one who’s ever met him in person.

Having your own communicator.

You and Kim have an open door policy for your houses. You’re allowed to show up at the Possible house anytime, and the same goes for Kim with your house.

In fact, you showed up at one in the morning, one time, to grab some flour, because you ran out at your house and wanted to make cookies (you shared when you came back later, so it was fine).

You fully support some of Ron’s more questionable decisions, such as becoming the middle dog mascot, because you know it’ll annoy Bonnie and the other cheerleaders.

Teasing Kim with Ron and Rufus about her crush on Josh Mankey.

Having a spot in your pack for Rufus to hang out, that’s always stocked with snacks. You love Rufus.

You definitely pouted because you missed out on Kim and Ron’s cheerleader camp, monster mishap.

Trying your best to help Ron get a partner but always secretly shipping him and Kim (you may have started a top secret shipping club to help them get together.)

Much to Kim’s annoyance, you get along great with the twins, Jim and Tim. They’re less annoying than your three older brothers. At the same time, Kim gets along well with your brothers, much to your own frustration.

Oftentimes having your own one off adventures with either Ron or Kim. Whenever it’s you and Kim, you manage to get the job done swiftly. However, despite your intelligence, you and Ron together it a chaotic combination.

Being on par with Kim in terms of combat skills

Not really having a main nemesis. Kim has Shego, and Ron has Monkeyfist. You, meanwhile, treat all the villains like Pokémon. Gotta catch them all.

Alongside Wade, you design a lot of the cool tech that aids team Possible on your missions.

You miniaturise and adopt DNAmy’s Rabbit-Rhino. They're about the size of a medium dog. You name them Barkin.

Sometimes splitting the team up to cover more ground. It’s always you and Wade (over communicator) and Kim with Ron. You and Ron are just too chaotic together to be left together during important assignments.

Observing Hanukkah with the Stoppables and celebrating Christmas Eve with the Possibles.

Having a healthy rivalry with Kim in certain areas (i.e., snowboarding, arriving at class first, who can do the most backflips, or break the most boards, etc.)

Helping Ron with his homework.

Dragging Kim and Ron to your favourite Chinese restaurant whenever you get sick of hanging out at Bueno Nacho or the mall.

You’re an important and valued member of team Possible. More importantly than that, you’re Kim and Ron’s best friend.

Barging Into Old Times || Team Possible

Closing the door to her girlfriend’s flat, Kim ducked out to her own dorm room, making sure to not wake anyone up because it was currently 5AM. She was an early riser and even on a weekend she had things to do. Her schedule was always perfectly planned with moderate wiggle room, but she saved the wiggle for Urs and her distracting ways, or Wade and his need for her help. 

The redhead slid into her room, starting to pack her bag for the day before grabbing a shower (because she definitely didn’t want to go around town smelling like what she and Ursula had gotten up to last night). As the shower ran, she could’ve sworn that she heard her door fly open and a voice call out. Her senses immediately on alert, as she left the shower running (not alerting the intruder that she’d heard) and wrapping a towel around herself. She kicked open her bathroom door to stealthily head in the direction of the commotion steam from her shower billowing into the room.

It sounded like someone was...rummaging through her fridge? She turned the corner, hair a sopping mess and still sort of sudsy, unamused look on her face. “Ron.” She sighed deepily. “What did we say about knocking?”

Buzz. Buzz.

Kim groaned, reaching for her phone blindly on the beside table before it could wake Urs up with whatever obnoxious ring tone was about to come through its speakers.

What is that? That freaky thing?

(Yes, that's right, it's the naked mole rat.)

Come on y'all, let the girlies--

Kim rolled her sleepy little eyes as she answered the phone blasting Ron’s stupid ring tone. She didn’t even really get to say hello before he was ranting about something (she wasn’t really paying attention, too busy curled up with her--whatever she was--to deal with him this early in the morning. Seriously what was his deal with waking her up so early?). All she ended up hearing was “lunch” and “burritos” and “meet me in an hour.” She made some sort of noise in response, voice raspy from sleep and all the activities that had gone on the night before. “Mhm... see you then.” And then she hung up before he could start on a new topic. She set up her phone alarm for a few more minutes to make sure she actually got up with enough time to get ready and meet him. He was her best friend after all. She couldn’t keep putting him off because she’d rather live in her own little bubble filled with, well, mostly Urs.

Speaking of the girl, Kim moved back in to run her fingers through soft colored locks, sighing a bit. They’d had a good Christmas. An even better New Year too. She’d been so great with her family and her parents were already calling her her girlfriend (which to any outsider, they might tend to assume that) but Kim didn’t let herself think she was anything but a really good friend (that she slept with on the regular and spent most of her free time with). She wrapped her arms around the other girl, pulling her body ever so slightly so they fit like two pieces of a puzzle. Her face rested against her back, cheek to warm skin, pressing a soft kiss to her spine as she relaxed and shut her eyes.

Buzz Buzz.

That was her alarm. She kissed the sleeping girl’s shoulder blade softly before pulling herself from her warmth. She’d text her an apology later for bailing while she was asleep, but Urs knew Ron well enough now to know he wouldn’t be denied.

A half hour later, Kim had returned to her place, got ready and headed out the door to Chippamunka. The walk was nice and not too far. And if Kim was being totally honest with herself, she was kind of starving. Pushing the door open, she scanned the restaurant for a sign of her friend and Rufus.
