DAY 19: WEAPON

Kaboodle's weapon of choice is the bow. She rarely actually uses it in a battle tho – she dies pretty often, and she can't let herself lose it. Under no circumstances.

The bow is, of course, blue. It has a simple but interesting design and infinite arrows made from pure energy. She grew up to like it at some point. At the end, it is her weapon.

Bow has another function. She prefers not to think about it for now.

Despite liking to be the center of the attention, she rarely ever shows it to anyone. The only real exception is Clown.

– It's a dangerous thing, – Clown says when she shows it to him, and the boundaries of his head blur as if demonstrating a disbalance, and the scythe behind his back trembles alarmingly on its own. – its... – he tries to find needed words, – like a magic wand. It has its purpose, but it can do and be anything.

She smiles.

– I know.

There were many things she hadn't told Clown. One of them was that she wasn't really his sister. Not quite, at least. Good riddance Clown had no idea which questions he should ask.

– I see, – Clown nods and returns the bow to her, and she notices that his fingers are slightly trembling. – It was made for you, so it'll never do you any harm. but you're vulnerable on your own, and this makes it vulnerable as well. Be careful, Kaboodle.

– Don't worry! I will.

It's nice to see Clown again, tho. It was an eternity. She missed him.
