When you first started dating this guy, he made very clear that he wanted to have children without even saying it, and as you kept getting to know him, you realized that it was his destiny to be a father. You could see it in the way he treats his patients, in the way he stares at fathers with their kids in public, in how easy it is for him to get along with your friend's children and how much they love him, so your son is the best thing that has ever happened to him.

Your husband gets at least one day off every week. other than that, it's hard to see him much during the week. Still, he makes sure to spend as much quality time with your four year old as he can on those free days. his family means everything to him.

As you get home from the grocery store, you can hear little giggles coming from the dining room. You leave the groceries at the kitchen before discreetly following the noise. As you get closer, you can finally understand what they're saying. "See those little dots on it's side? That's where the wings will form later on" the doctor explains to the wide eyed child observing a caterpillar though one of his dad's microscopes. When your son notices your presence, he gets even more excited, now he'll be able to tell you what he's learnt. "Mommy! I found a worm outside and daddy let me keep it!" Your son was interrupted by his dad clarifying that it wasn't a worm, but the child laughed it off.

The doctor stood up to greet you with a tender kiss before explaining the situation to you. "He was very excited when he saw the little guy while playing outside. He says he wants to keep it until it becomes a butterfly." He whispered in your ear. "But will we be able to keep it alive until then?" you asked, worried for your son's feelings in case his friend were to die. "I think I can manage." The apostle assured you with the kind of cocky smile that makes you roll your eyes.

He headed back to his son and offered him to go shopping for everything they'll need to take care of the insect. Your baby jumps right at his arms, ready to go, but Nathaniel takes the opportunity to turn the little child upside down, which he loves. Suddenly you have two children at home laughing uncontrollably while one of them swings the other one in circles. Yeah... It was definitely his destiny to become a father, and you couldn't be happier that you get to witness it. Next thing you know, he's telling you that he wants a daughter now.

THADDEUS

One of the main reasons you fell in love with him in the first place was that you could see him as the father of your children in the future, and a great father at that. Thank god, you were absolutely right about that.

The amount of crying you witnessed when your daughter was born could only be described as impressive, and not only the day she was born, but many days after... Probably her whole first month of life. He has expressed to you on multiple occasions that he feels incredibly grateful and accomplished for having a family with you, he just can't believe how lucky he is.

You wake up form your nap rather abruptly, your cats is making the most dramatic sounds, as if it was being attacked. You rush to your daughter's room which was where the noise was coming from, only to catch Thaddeus and your toddler infraganti while terrorizing the poor cat. They both freeze when they see you, The "adult" holding your cat as your daughter paints it's claws... or rather it's paws. After the initial shock wears off, they let go of the cat quickly, as it runs to your arms. "We wanted to make him pretty, mommy!" Your daughter yells excitedly, but all you do is giving your husband a death stare while he smiles nervously. "It is a spa day" he tries to explain, but you aren't having it. You look around the room, inspecting the mess they've made and their dirty clothes. They sure had a lot of fun while you were asleep. "Give her a bath and change her clothes" You order him, visibly upset, but he haaaates it when you get angry at him.

The killer jumps up and follows you though the hallway, attempting to hug you before you push him away. "You have to change your clothes as well!" You remind him, but he doesn't care and hugs you anyway, covering your furious face in kisses. You beg him to stop but he informs you that he won't until you forgive him.

You must admit that it does feel like you have two children sometimes, but you wouldn´t want it any other day.

He never expressed wanting children, and you never saw him interacting with any, so when you found out you were pregnant, you couldn't help but freak out. Would he stay? Would he hate this? Would he be a good father?"

All of these questions you made yourself back then make you feel guilty now, because of course he stayed, of course he didn't hate this and of course he is a good father, he is the best father because he loves you, and you can't believe you ever doubted that.

You peek through the window to watch your husband and son playing baseball outside. Your 6 year old recently got into a baseball team at school, and he's asked his dad to help him practice ever since. The apostle is really good at it, too. Then again, he's really good at everything he does. They both have had a lot of fun with this for the last couple of weeks and it seems like your son might have inherited his father's talent. he learns everything very fast... Or maybe his dad is a really good teacher. I guess you'll see with time.

Judas has been the best father ever so far... he did admit to you while you were at the hospital with your new born that he never wished for children, but that he felt incredibly glad that life didn't listen to him and gave him a baby regardless. You know he can't imagine his life without his son, and he has expressed to you that he'd like to have more kids whenever you feel ready. He'll never get tired of telling you how much he loves you and thanks you for giving him a reason to wake up every day... Well, two reasons.

Never wished for children, never gave them too much thought, but always made it clear to you that he felt like he didn't have that thing that others have when it comes to kids... That spark that makes children want to be around him, however, you felt the complete opposite.

Sure, he is grumpy and a little mean, but under all of that whining, there's a very noble heart. When you tell him you are expecting a baby, you don't let his freak out affect you, because even if he doesn't believe in himself, you do.

And like always, you were right. The moment john met his daughter 5 years ago, a switch turned inside of him, and ever since, he's been a great father. Turns out, he does have that sparkle in him. In many ways, he has a child-like soul.

When your daughter was born, the killer decided he wanted to have a more peaceful life. he left his violent activities behind and took you and your child to a farm for safety reasons. Who would suspect a farmer? He's terrified of someone hurting his family.

As you finish your second cup of coffee of the day, you head outside to watch the green of spring for a little while, but your husband and child soon catch you eye as you spot them near the rabbit enclosure. As you get closer, you realize what's going on. Both seemed to have fed the rabbits a little while ago, but apparently changed activities rather quickly. You realized this as you watched John picking flowers and saving them in his daughter's basket. "We're making flower crowns, mommy! Would you like one?" your daughter kindly offered, and you said yes. John smiled at you, pointing at the flower crown over his head, pretending to be annoyed by the child, but you both knew that he secretly enjoyed this stuff. The man forced you to help on the mission, though it was just an excuse to spend the evening with you as well. "Sir, you look very handsome" The little girl pointed out with the attitude of a fashion critic. "Thank you miss, you look beautiful as well." her father replied, unable to hide a chuckle.

He looked at you a bit embarrassed, but you jumped at him to give him a kiss. "Ew!" The child complained. How lucky you were to have this life.

He has this latent feeling of guilt that follows him ever since the world gave him the opportunity to be a father and he ruined it. There isn't one day that goes by where he doesn't think about it. So, when you tell him that you're having a baby... He doesn't know how to feel. He knows that he won't make the same mistake twice and won't let the chance of being a good dad go, but at the same time, knowing that he failed Hanna holds him back from being as excited as he should be.

When he holds his daughter for the first time, he understands that it is no good to be stuck in the past, the only way he can make things up is by doing things right this time. And he does. For the past 4 years he has dedicated his whole life to you and his baby. He loves his daughter in a way he could've never expected and his daughter loves him just as much.

"It's ready!" Your little one yells at you from the kitchen. She and her dad have been preparing a cookie party all morning. When you get there, the kitchen's small table is decorated beautifully by your daughter's pink toy tableware. A tower of the cutest cookies at the center of the table... Although they smell a bit burnt. Peter isn't a great cook. Your daughter serves you a cup of hot chocolate and you tank her. Peter approaches you to kiss you briefly, "Pretend it is delicious, she poured salt instead of sugar in the chocolate." the man whispers carefully.

Ohhhh to date this man, it’s great, but also very difficult. It is worth it, though… Right?

A nerd at heart.

He’s an incredibly smart man, which was actually what caught your attention the first time you met him.

He’s just the kind of person who knows a little bit of everything. You can have a conversation with him about any subject and he’ll be able to follow.

It’s just sooo attractive to you to hear him speak on those things that he’s passionate about.

I also picture him as someone with a great sense of humor, maybe a bit dark sometimes, but he doesn’t fail to make you laugh.

The thing is, the more you get to know someone, the more you get to know the bad sides as well, and Nathaniel is not perfect.

He’s a very ambitious man. His ambition tends to be his main focus occasionally, which is a recurrent problem between you.

I believe that before his fight with Peter, he wouldn’t have been able to have a partner. His whole life revolved around getting stronger, so he didn’t even had the time to meet people, and no girl would want to date a guy who clearly doesn’t prioritize her.

With this, I don’t mean that he never had a partner, he had his good times back when he was younger, before obsessing with evolution and stuff. He’s a handsome man, women have always been interested.

But after the fight (and assuming he may be alive) he realized that he would never be the strongest human ever, it was a hard pill to swallow, but he’s not stupid. He knows that’s the way things are.

He probably had a lot of time to reminisce on his whole life, on his rights and wrongs.

And he realized that none of the things he had been missing out on had been worth it. That’s when new things started to come his way and he met you.

Meeting you after this realization of his was actually really good for him. It’s not easy to learn that everything you have worked for your whole life was for nothing, you know? This was a very dark time in his life.

In his mind, he had justified all the lives he had taken by pretending that it was for a greater good, for research and science.

But now he had the cold mind to understand that he had fucked up.

Having you around, someone who appreciated him despite who he was and what he had done was the only thing keeping him sane.

In case you met him without knowing of his past, he took a looong time to tell you himself. He was convinced that you would hate him and leave, and more importantly, he was incredibly, deeply, ashamed.

But just when he thought that he couldn’t love you more, you stayed even after knowing the truth.

You just saw things as they were, you know? The man you knew had a good heart. You had seen him taking care of his pediatric patients, taking care of you… he wasn’t a monster.

But good people do bad things too, and bad people can become good.

You truly changed his perspective on life. You showed him what the things that actually mattered were, and for the first time, he was no longer living just for himself.

Now, no one changes overnight. He’s still a proud, ambitious man. But he wouldn’t be himself if he wasn’t.

Sadly, you don’t get too see him as often as you’d like. He’s still a doctor, after all. His shifts are looooong, you can go full days without seeing him.

He’s a total workaholic. He sometimes even forgets to eat, but thankfully, that’s the perfect excuse for visiting him.

You have this little routine where you bring lunch to him on his breaks, and he loves it.

Those 20 minutes he gets to have a meal with you and talk are the best part of his day. Besides, it really warms his heart to know that you care that much for him.

And he also feels superior than all the other doctors who have wives who hate them or are already divorced

He can feel their jealousy.

I believe his work mates don’t like him very much to begin with because of how young he is and the fact that he’s already so high up.

Speaking of jealousy… yes, he is very jealous. Being confident in himself has never been his thing, you know? It might appear like it, but he has always felt less than others. Weaker, weirder… just not normal overall.

He’s just scared that you’ll realize this and understand that he’s not a good fit for you.

He feels like it’s quite the miracle that you’re with him, like it’s some kind of dream that could be over soon.

On the other hand, you also get a bit jealous sometimes. All the nurses are in love with him. And the mothers of his patients too.

He’s actually a very romantic man, by the way. Might not seem like it, but he is. Nathaniel has no problem with telling you how much you mean to him, nor with having any sort of gestures with you.

He loves to take you out on dates and bring you flowers, and he loves being affectionate in public.

Plus, he feels the need to compensate that he doesn’t see you much on weekdays.

It’s so cute to see how all of the kids at the hospital love him, they always want to be around him.

He’ll cook for you when he has days off, believe it or not, he’s fairly decent at it. He has lived by himself pretty much his whole life, so he had to learn.

He just doesn’t do it often because of the hectic environment at the hospital, instant food is easier.

Back to the kids thing, he really wants to have children. It’s a complicated subject for him, because he doubts of his capacity to be a good father while at the same time he’s dying to have a family with you.

He has talked to you about it. Would not put pressure on you if that’s not what you wish, but it would make him incredibly happy if you feel the same as him. There’s still a lot of time to figure that out, though.

He likes to plan ahead of time a lot, always prepared for everything, always thinking about every single thing that could happen in the future. This may be what made him buy a ring after less than a year knowing you.

He just knew it. Still waiting for the right time, but he knows who he wants.

Getting sick while dating him is more of a good thing than a bad one. He’ll take a couple of days off to take care of you, it doesn’t matter if it’s just a cold. He’ll make sure you are warm and take your meds, and he’ll bring your meals to bed.

Overall he’ll treat you as if you were incapable of anything. He’ll even bathe you and change your clothes for you.

Being a caregiver is carved into his soul.

It’s is no news that he is STRONG.

He lifts you up as if you were a sheet of paper, no matter how much you weight. And you love it.

Whenever he comes home from work, he’ll greet you with a hug that lifts you up in the air, he can’t help it.

PETER

He is an incredibly romantic man, sure, it may be in an old fashioned way, but to be fair, that's exactly what you love the most about him.

Whether it is because he grew up in a different time or not, he is a firm believer in old courting customs. He cannot fathom the idea of not opening a door for you, of not gifting you flowers every single week, of not being a provider for you. The man is the definition of a classic gentleman, he makes you feel like you are on a 50s movie every single day.

Having said this, a perfect valentine’s date for him means waking you up with the biggest flower bouquet he could find, bringing breakfast for you in bed, and waiting for the evening to come with a brand new dress on the bed waiting to be worn at a fancy restaurant tonight. He plans meticulously every aspect of the day, making sure everything goes according to plan, and let me tell you, it always does. He knows how to treat a lady for sure. Once you get home, he takes your heels off carefully and starts playing some music that you don't recognize, offering you his hand, asking you to dance with him. Of course, you accept. Your face is buried in his neck, smelling his cologne and listening to his heart as he guides you though the living room to a slow waltz. This is all you need. (expect petals on the bed as well).

NATHANIEL

He is a planner, he plans everything, days, weeks, months ahead. The thing is, he has to plan Valentine's on a rush every year because he does have to be at the hospital for a little while. Since he is the general manager, and is specialized in pediatrics, he has to make sure that the day’s arrangements for the kids go well. Every year, the hospital organizes a couple of activities for the children, it includes writing letters for their friends, family and doctors, decorating cookies, painting, among other things; and every year, the person who gets the most letters is always Nathaniel. The kids adore him. He gets letters thanking him for everything he does, and they move him very much. You love reading them with him, they make you proud of him. (he occasionally gets letters from their moms, but you don't talk about it).

When he is finally free, expect literally anything you want. He tries to change things up every year, sometimes he takes you out for dinner, sometimes it's a picnic, one time he even rented a small yacht for the night. This year, he wanted it to be more intimate, so he came back home to prepare dinner for both of you, and trust me, he's good cooking. The doctor made your apartment feel like the most romantic place on earth, candles everywhere, the smell of lasagna and a freshly opened bottle of wine. Once you both finish your food, you interrupt the subject of your conversation with a surge of impulsiveness. "I could do this for the rest of my life," you say, searching for his eyes timidly. He does the same, he looks into your eyes, trying to decipher what you may mean by that, and he can't hide how excited he is when he finally finds out. "So if I were to ask, would you say yes?" He inquired, sitting up from his chair to be closer to your face. "You'll know that when you do ask," you answered with a flirty smile. The apostle kissed you lovingly before speaking again. "Deal." There´s nowhere you'd rather be than in his arms tonight.

JOHN

He is not the best at being romantic, but he does have every intention to be, especially for valentine's day. He does not want to disappoint you, he wants to prove himself worthy of having a partner, of being loved. He may not have a lot of experience in the matter, but this man isn't dumb, he planned every aspect of the day to make it feels special. He is a wine enthusiast, so he booked a guided tour through a vineyard that promised to be the best date of anyone's life. And boy it was. The place was beautiful, you loved it and the man sighed with relief the moment he noticed your big smile, it is so much pressure to find something to do... but it was all worth it, truly.

You were just so, so happy, and he was surprised at how happy that made him feel, he would've never expected to feel that way for someone ever. At some point, the tour ended, and it was time for all the couples to have dinner at the vineyard's restaurant. The place was an outdoor concept, and you could see the stars bright in the night, wonderful didn't even begin to describe it.

As the night progressed, all the wine you were drinking started to get to you, every single thing John said was making you laugh uncontrollably, and though he acted like you were annoying him with your cute drunkenness, the truth was that he fell even more in love with you. "Oh, babe!" You exclaimed as you cupped his face tenderly, pouting softly. "I love you so much, I can't remember the last time I saw a place as beautiful as this" you continued, dragging your words, but full of sincerity. The killer took you hand in his as he pushed them away from his face, faking an eye roll, but unable to hide his subtle smirk. "I love you too." He answered briefly, but God knows he loves you more than anything in this world.

THADDEUS

He loooves Valentine's day! He just thinks it's such a lovely day, and he of course loves it even more since he met you. He's so naturally good at it as well, he always gets the best flowers, the best chocolates, the best everything.

This year, he decided to take you on a pic nic at a place he discovered though his job. It was a beautiful small town close to the beach, with the perfect weather to use as an excuse to buy you a summer dress. Thaddeus doesn't cook. He isn't bad at it, but he isn't an expert either, se he decides to buy food from your favourite place instead. When you finally get there, he opens up the trunk of his car and reveals about a dozen of neatly wrapped boxes, all of them gifts for you.

The evening went by wonderfully, he makes you feel special with every little thing he does for you. The guy is truly a great boyfriend, and incredibly thoughtful and considerate as well.

JUDAS

He is a bit old fashioned as well, but not as much as Peter. He’s in this weird middle ground where his concept of relationships is too outdated for you but too modern for people like Peter.

His attitude really depends on the woman, to be fair, he hasn’t had actual relationships before you, he wasn’t allowed to, after all. In his younger days, he had flings here and there, and if you were to ask those women if he was a gentleman to them, they would immediately say no. After honor, he kind of tried to have less casual attempts at love, but he never managed to connect with any of those women… but you, you are something else. You are proof that when he cares, he can be the most perfect man on earth, straight out of any girl’s dreams.

On special days, birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, he does everything right. Actually, you have never witnessed him fail at anything. He never does. This year, he decided to up his game a little, taking you on a romantic trip for the week. He chose somewhere you had wanted to visit for a while now, and so far, the trip was going amazing. The itinerary for valentine’s included visiting an island close to the place you were staying at. You were meant to spend the night there and head back tomorrow morning, but the day had been exhausting, you begged your boyfriend to skip the dinner reservations and head straight to the hotel.

And just like that, you both ended up in your bath robes, eating the food you ordered from the room service on the bed, watching some terrible foreign reality show. And truthfully, there was no better place to be at.

⋆ ˚｡⋆are the epitome of a match made in hell! We have a body dissection loving maniac who breaks guns with bare hands and a sociopath whose father you buried for the throne that your brother now occupies. Of course, you guys get along like a house on fire.

You always find a way to forcefully squeeze yourself into his schedule, like dropping by unannounced during his night shifts so you can whip him away for a few minutes! The nurses and patients mistake you two for a couple all the time, something Nathaniel doesn’t bother to clarify anymore.

⋆ ˚｡⋆share what can almost be considered as a bond despite the chaos going on. Aside from Raphael, he’s the one guy whose company you somewhat enjoy and find amusement in. You’re also the only girl who gets to spray deodorant in this scary man’s face and don’t end up being slammed against the wall. It’s a win-win! ☪︎ ･ﾟ ･Nathaniel... begrudgingly acknowledges the influence you have on Glory Club. How a fragile-looking woman can command fear and respect without trying. He, though, still has a hard time wrapping his head around the mind-boggling jokes you blurt out sometimes versus the cruelty you’re capable of inflicting. “It’s so cold out here…” You tugged your legs underneath your chin and let out a loud yawn, wiggling your feet. “I thought the rainy season ended last week?”

Five centimeters away from you on the bench, Nathaniel leisurely sipped on his Americano. “High humidity levels,” he set the cup aside, “so your clothes might get saturated by the moisture in the air.”

“Huh, guess that’s why I’m still shivering in these 70D stockings—“ mid-sentence, your eyes widened when the guy suddenly took off his blouse and draped it over your lap. “Thanks.”

Nathaniel just shrugged and picked up his drink again. Two nurses walked by and cooed at the scene, though you weren’t sure if the attention was on you or him, or the playing-house act he had been tolerating for a while.

You scanned your surroundings: the hospital’s courtyard was mostly empty at this point. A few elderly patients hung out in the right corner of a dimly lit cafeteria, doing their nighttime stretches. When you look up, a billboard on the side of the building greeted your eyes—a picture of an old-looking Peter with his back hunched. The bounty flashed beneath it in place of the contact number for donation: 7,6 Billion Won.

“Kim Soongu…” The words left your lips as an afterthought, but then you caught Nathaniel’s jaws clenching in your peripheral vision with the coffee cup suddenly crushed to a pulp in his palm, a river of brown dripping to the ground.

The awkward silence didn’t even last for three seconds before a hysterical fit of laughter left your throat as you clung to your stomach.

“Holy fuck—“ snickering, you leaned against Nathaniel’s side like you two were having a sleepover. “Look at the way you got your panties in a twist with just the mention of his name. Is he that good?”

Your slightly-closer-than-an-acquaintance furrowed his eyebrows and answered through gritted teeth. “Brat…”

“Annoying too?” you mirrored his cocked brow with amusement, cheek leaning on his shoulder as you watched the guy slip off his beverage-soaked glove, “didn’t the stats say Soongu is just another D-rank killer though?”

“Not it from my observation.” Nathaniel huffed. “He had some untapped potential. Having him on my team would be… beneficial.”

You tilted your head. “For…?”

“Taking down Peter,” he looked a little irritated at your constant questioning, but ultimately decided not to show that frustration. Instead, Nathaniel’s raspy voice took on what seemed to be a teasing note; his lips curled up into an easy-going smile as the man flicked your forehead.

“So much for your plastic surgery idea, princess.”

“Ow—!” You squealed, touching the violated skin; he wasn’t even using force and you could already feel a bump rising. “What do you mean? So it wasn’t him?”

“It’s real skin from what I felt.” Nathaniel ran a hand over his hair. “Tch, whatever. When he shows up tomorrow, I’ll definitely find out.”

Tomorrow. You tucked your legs further under your chin, eyes still trained on him.

“Hyun Il.”

“?”

The Apostle turned his head towards you.

“You’re 100% likely to die.”

“Doubtful, aren’t we?”

You let out a giggle. “You wanna hear me say it?”

Nathaniel’s gaze hardened. “I will win.”

A sigh left your lips as you stared up at the dark sky above. It was a relatively starless night, but there were still some lonely orbs twinkling if you squinted hard enough.

Some saw themselves as the sun—the center of this universe with planets orbiting around them. Constantly striving for a new high. Yet there were bound to be limits. A wall in between. Something, someone who might just show up one day and render all of their efforts useless.

How incompetent we were in the grand scheme of things.

Raphael's comment earns a small smile from you. Taking your little brother's hand, you stand up from where you have been crouching on the ground for the last few minutes.

"Nathaniel doesn't need to be physically here to haunt me," you hum playfully while his fingers brush off the imaginary dust on your hair. "Jokes aside, he's cremated. I'm surprised to find out that could still work without the furnace blowing up; he's like a walking T vessel."

"Mhm…"

"Found anything at the scene?"

At your inquiry, Raphael's brows drawn together in a way that reminds you of Nathaniel. Then again, frustration doesn't have a second face.

"Tch, nothing at all." His grip around your shoulders tighten. "That bastard vanished without a trace."

All the killers dying… so that really was Peter's doings. You've seen the outcome from miles away, yet who is to say the result doesn't baffle you in the slightly? What Glory Club is dealing with here is no longer a human being.

"Hey, Raphael…" for a second, the face of an unfamiliar teenager pops up in your mind—black hair, red eyes that hold an immaculate sense of authority, "do you think that…"

"Yes?" Your brother tilted his head. There's a lump in your throat that is suddenly too hard to swallow.

"Nevermind," as quick as that eerie hypothesis comes to be, you forcefully swat it away; a sharp edge to your smile, "let's get back, shall we? It's gonna start raining soon."
