I saw on your other ask that Error, Dream and Nightmare made a bet about Killer and Blue getting together I wanna ask are they in a relationship? If so that be kind off cute Killer x Blue or Swap as I'd like to prefer to him is a rare ship for some reason but I can practically see that they would rather stick up as friend or be platonic although I've seen platonic relationships as a thing or platonic marriages I think if that even is a thing atomic platonic marriage are just two people who liked eachother both only as friends but at the same time there not I dunno but I've heard it is a thing??
I absolutely adore rarepairs. They are my preferred ships. And there are a fair few in Technoid. Though I doubt anyone would actually notice them.
Before I answer I wanted to give a little context on both of them and how they grew up.
I know you didn’t ask for context but I feel it’s needed. Tltr at the end of that makes it easier.
Blue and Killer have a very complicated relationship. They grew up together and were practically inseparable. And let me tell you they were a rowdy pair, made Geno and Papy’s life a nightmare. They drifted apart after Killer turned 11 and was deemed safe to live in the city (they were worried about his soul but he’s doing well)
When Blue was allowed to leave it had already been a year, Strech was there to pick him up and they took residence in the neon district that was being ran by Classic. Killer was picked up by Aida and taken to the whisper district (Aida was the head of this district before Dust). These are on opposite sides of the city.
Blue and Killer developed different ideals of how life in the districts should be, both started small gangs of their own and were recognized by their district heads. Blue was offered Classics (he is still in the learning period cus Dream isn’t fully confident in him) position after he showed skills in leading the people, showing compassion and organizing improvement efforts in the district. Killer was recognized by Dust purely based on his skill, brash nature and energetic demeanor that others seemed to flock to.
Killer was given the radium district which shares borders with neon. Killer was looking to expand his district, you know the whole of I do this I will be looked at more favorable by big boss man.
This was the first time Killer and Blue crossed paths in 5 years. They barely recognize each other and we’re at each others throats majority of the time. Neither of them where for peaceful talks and would prefer to talk with fist, guns and bombs. It wasn’t until both Dream and Nightmare (and Ccino) stepped in that they stopped trying to kill each other.
Now to get on about their relationship.
They are both at odds with each other and still have fights, but they aren’t as damaging as they once were. Often times they enjoy meals together and play small games. (This is how the talks of their relationship started)
It’s difficult for district heads to be in relationships to begin with, majority avoid them at all cost. But it’s not off the table for Blue and Killer, as they have talked about combining the two district (it would become the luminous district if that happens)
Their relationship status is still up in the air, and things get more complicated when the second potential match enters the story.
TLTR: Blue’s love life is super complicated and he gets faced with two possible matches.
