A nice (or silly) JonGerry moment?
You'd have to compell it out of him (he told him after a few minutes of jon fumbling around for them)

Do you guys think Armand is already willing to teach Daniel how to walk in the sun because Daniel said Armand's blood sucks and it perhaps struck a nerve lol
ok looking through the page of the new claude's quotes and i have some thoughts.
first off if you know japanese could you please do me a huge favor and go to the bottom of this post i need help
THEY KEPT HIM ALMOST CALLING HIMSELF KHALID IN ENGLISH TOO I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST IN JAPANESE YES
obviously we all need to give this guy a hug. he is so expecting everyone to treat him bad. i'm demanding everyone who sees this to go give this kid like twenty hugs at least.
"those who stop fighting end up dead. you have to keep struggling and resisting if you want to survive." THIS HAS SO MANY SAD IMPLICATIONS IM CRYING FOR HIM
"why do you think people create borders between countries? they draw lines on maps and divide things based on what's on this side and what's on that side. then they repeatedly fight each other like a bunch of fools. look at the sky. there's no borders up there—just blue that extends forever and ever. can't we come together like the sky, regardless of where we came from, how much we have, what we believe? i know you think it's a silly dream, but i think it's worth shooting for. i may have a lot left to learn, but i will gain the strength to bring the world together as one." even as baby claude he's so ready to bring everyone together and break down those walls. even more support to my theory of the real reason he came to fodlan, so that's nice.
there are two quotes i genuinely don't understand:
"my mother ran off with the man she loved, and then just...threw it all away." and "ow! the old man doesn't know when to hold back"
the first one makes sense until it says she threw it all away. what did she throw away? her old life in fodlan? im assuming that's what it's referring to but it's such a weird way to say it that i can't be sure. the second one would make more sense if it say my old man, because that would imply its his father. "the" could still mean that, but its also a weird choice. also why would they put in a quote about this mystery man (potentially his dad) not holding back and hurting him. that literally doesn't make sense. the little we know about him is: one singular time he punished claude by having a horse drag him around (that maybe is what it's referencing but i doubt it), he can be a bit eccentric, and claude is his favorite son to a possibly too great extent (according to shahid who could easily be bias and nader who was literally talking about him missing him so obviously hes gonna be upset his son is gone).
so uh. not very plausible grounds to assume this guy is a. his father and b. his father hurting him. however, it could be something cleared up by translation. here's the japanese versions:
母さんは、あの親父と駆け落ちするような変人さ。and いててて…。親父のやつ、手加減ってもんを知らないのか?
i googled translated them in hopes it would maaaybe help (ik google translate isnt super reliable) and it honestly made it more confusing which i expected. so if anyone knows japanese or knows someone who does i would love to know what the actual translation is because maybe it'll clear things up for me.
but overall...give khalid a hug. please. wait no i said 20. give him 20 hugs.
x

It's so funny to me how, except the literally becoming a wolf part, being a werewolf has so much overlap with being autistic (especially for afab people).
Sensory stuff? Check (You can't tell me Scott's panic attack about too many noises during an exam doesn't have parallels to a meltdown)
Trying to blend in with "normal" humans? Check
Being perceived as odd or threatening? Check
(for afab people/people who get periods) Having Issues (TM) once a month regarding emotional regulation/behavior because of an event that's outside of their control? Check
In conclusion, I gained another argument for my autistic Thiam agenda.
(I'm sure I'd find more parallels if I'd think a bit more about it, but my brain is fried, and this is literally just a shower thought)
