there's not even a look of realization until the enormous truck is flying far past the spot that jackie had just been standing in. holy shit that could have been her! the moment had gone so fast that someone yanking her off of the street wasn't even fully realized either. she'd ask just how unaware she was, but she knew the answer to that prior to the stacking evidence from just this moment.
the former soccer captain whirled around to the source of the pulling with wide eyes. and that was saying quite a bit for the already wide-eyed girl. "i was almost just dead-" again "-thank you so much!"
