           there   really   were   no   leagues   in   his   book .     such   high   school   mentalities   were   things   that   he   slaughtered  ,    ENDED .     still  ,    he   couldn’t   help   but   be   amused   by   the   comment .     he   hums   quietly  ,     thoughtfully  ,     tilts   his   head   at   the   girl   as   he   considers   his   next   few   words .    anyone   could   take   a   look   at   his   history  ,     pick   up   any   newspaper   or   tv   remote   and   find   the   victims   he   favoured .      SHE   SEEMED   TO   FIT   THE   DESCRIPTION   PERFECTLY .

The quarry had been compromised after a little mistake of his. Someone knew of his spot, and the only reason was two cigarettes had been missing from his pack. Perhaps it was such a subtle thing a NORMAL person wouldn’t notice, but Patrick wasn’t normal in the slightest. In fact, such a thing caused stress, enough that he had decided to find a new place to hide out when he wanted time away. The choice, the well house on Neibolt Street. It seemed like the perfect place to him, and no one would come lookin’ for him there should any trouble arise. 

Slow steps are taken across the charred floor, his eyes wide as he overlooks his surroundings with a stone visage.  It was a lack of expression. . .almost hyper-focused in a sense. The irony was that such a look was true to whom Patrick had truly been behind his mask. A sick, troubled boy that just wanted the world to BURN.

Patrick makes himself at home, finding a seat on the ripped up couch. There’s a slight breath of relief to escape him, as he cracks his neck, his hands reaching to pull a spliff from his sock. He’d waste no time lighting it up, his mind feeling at ease, believing he was alone.

“so what? because i’m a girl i’m supposed to be squicked out by blood?” ember scoffs. teenage boys. they never change. he reminds her of her lab partner in high school biology: a big dumb jock who’d asked something similar before mutilating the poor frog on the tray. she woke up with mr franklin worriedly leaning over her on the floor because she’d fainted. so, sure, she was squicked out by blood then but ember wasn’t that girl anymore. she’d died and come back as a fucking ghost. she could deal with some blood. maybe she’d show him her real face, see if he freaked - he’d probably enjoy it. she crosses her arms, lifting her chin haughtily. “c’mon. let’s see it then.”

              SHE SUCKS IN a sharp breath, considering the question that holds softly in the air. is it greedy? she knows why she’s called, why she’s said a name that could potentially damn her and then some. because there’s power in a name (a weep for a long lost sister, a prayer for resolution) and she’s called upon it, only to sit side by side with someone with the chills of death. she murmurs, turning a chin to face the girl alight with blue. “not anymore greedy than what i’ve done get you here.”

10. an assertive kiss 

      Footfalls were heavy as he crossed the room, floorboards creaking with every step. She’d turned her back to him yet again – always telling him off even when she was practically grinning. It was enough to drive anyone to the edge and he was all too eager to walk off it completely. She pushed and pulled and pushed and pulled. Teasing him and always giving him that look that drew him in. That made him want to drop to his knees and worship her in the worst ways imaginable. 

      Instead, Billy pressed right up against her. Hands gripping down on her hips with a firm squeeze, he leaned in just enough until he was flush to her back. Lips pressed to her ear as he breathed out a huff of laughter. “ You know I love it when you threaten to end my existence, babe. Gets me hot under the collar, ” he murmured as his hand began to skim up her side. Ghosting over her chest until it splayed out under her jaw. With a quick nudge and a broad, toothy grin, Billy took full advantage. Mouth pressed hard into hers as he shifted in further, rounding on her and crowding into her space. Backing her step by step until they were tucked neatly into the nearest alcove. 

      A tongue flicked out and teased just so at her bottom lip, teeth grazing just enough as he pulled back enough to speak. Eyes narrowed and lips brushing against hers with each word. “ But we both know I’d be useless if I were six feet under, don’t we. ” And he was back on her like he was half starved for it, hand threading into her hair as he kissed her with everything he had.
