“You make it sound like I just brashly beat down the drywall,” Peter said, lowering the small section of false wall over the secret compartment Juno was just now learning had been installed in his apartment. His very much not owned apartment. His apartment which belonged to his landlord, who hated him. “Look, it’s seamless. Professional work. I just needed somewhere to keep ill-gotten goods and since you complain about me leaving them in the closet...”
“I don’t like evidence in my socks,” Juno huffed, folding his arms over his chest.
“Exactly, so... compromise!” Peter said with a beaming smile.
“I don’t even wanna know what’s in there,” Juno said. “... so what is it?”
“Oh detective, questions are dangerous,” Peter replied, tapping Juno’s nose with a manicured finger. “Nothing you need worry about.”
“It’s in my wall,” Juno pointed out.
“Well, you did say I should have a drawer now that I’m staying over more often,” Peter said.
“Yeah, for some shirts or a toothbrush, you ass,” Juno shot back. “Not diamonds.”
“It’s not diamonds,” Peter chuckled. Juno scrunched up his face, clearly trying to think of other things his boyfriend might have smuggled into his home.
