I cant belive they are going to chop down like thirty trees that stood there before any of us were born to make a tram line over the excat same path as the already know to be underused busline even though like 90 % of the people living there said they didnt want or need it.

The primary ingredient in the Monsanto-made herbicide #Roundup, glyphosate has been under scrutiny in both agriculture and forestry for years. It remains widely used, because while softwood species like pine and spruce can tolerate a certain dosage of the chemical, glyphosate can be effective in eliminating the growth of hardwood trees for decades.

What are they thinking?!

My neighbor just demolished a fruiting dogwoods and several other trees! I’m not concerned about losing my privacy (huzzah! a whole apartment complex to stare into my bedroom window! not!) but rather the birds I watch and know that have already nested in this row! Hummingbird, doves and crossbills, and a lovely warbler pair. It is so sad. It makes me wonder what they were thinking (obviously not!) but they had all winter! Why now?! Can people be that ignorant?
