reading bell hooks, killing rage,  this evening as i moved with exhaustion at the end of the last hour of my second job i was empowered by her words

and encouraged to continue to to decolonize my mind.

as a mestiz@, a woman of color -- the rage 

penetrates my being, my skin, my thoughts. it does not limit me. it allows me to delve into privilege.
