Hi!!! Saw your rosary and wanted to ask if you did those by hand bc that's insane!! Did you have a like pattern or something you followed? Sorry lol I love making jewelry and like nerding out about it.
Hii~ yeah, I started with just beads and wire. I didn’t have a pattern I followed, I just laid a few things out on my bead board until I got a design I liked, tired it out on the part of the rosary that hangs down, and then I just committed to it. I actually have the supplies to make a second rosary with a brass cross knife that I have to figure out a design for now.
I have one of those three size looper tools that helped me create the first loop, then I had to do the second loop by hand. I didn’t have ideal pliers for that (bail pliers would have been great), so it’s not as even as I would have liked, but I ordered the bail pliers for my next project so hopefully it’s a better outcome this time.
That was my first time working with wire in a very long time. More recently, I’ve been trying out knotted bead projects or even some crochet beaded jewelry. But working with wire is nice. It allowed me to make some jellyfish earrings recently.
