my killjoysona/danger days oc!!!!

their name is Shell Shocked and they don't have much lore (or character design, for that matter) yet but i plan on adding to it. anywho, all you gotta know is that they're a former bl/ind scientist who ended up switching sides and now uses the military technology they learned to build grenades and bombs for the rebels. also their burns are from an explosion gone wrong, oops!

and guys their hair is just like that i promise it's not just me being ass at shading,, they just have light pink roots

thinking about silly fluffy killjoy antics...tan lines in the shapes of masks your team makes fun of you for, just to pull theirs off after a firefight and have the same. sleeping in big piles of everyone you love. laughing so hard your ribs hurt as the sun sets, and giggling so hard youre lightheaded as the sun rises after a successful Zones sleepover. the acidic soda combinations teenagers make and share. helping your friends name themselves when they finally escape batt city and going thrifting for their first jacket with them. zone accents that develop over time. the live music. the pranks. the parades and dance parties and and festivals and holidays and legends. the words for colors you have to come up with because nobody has an education ("dude what color is that?" "uhhhh superfuckingbright yellowish-bluish?") friendship bracelets. nail art trends. slightly dangerous radioactive pets everyone has. witchfucker wednesday <3 the zines passed around about everything from how to sew up your pants to how to shoot a drac dead in one zap. just. KILLJOY CULTURE IS FULL OF JOY OKAY

Life in the world to come is a radio show where they do live QnAs abt the zones (people write to them or radio them questions and they note them down)

OUR TRUE LIVES: An upcoming Danger Days OC zine

I've wanted to make and/or lead a Danger Days OC project for a LONG time, and recently I finally got the chance to! I actually started this zine based around my and other people's killjoy OCs as a server wide event for a killjoy OC Discord community that's sadly deleted now. But I didn't want to cancel it, so I'm turning to Tumblr and opening it to anyone who wants to participate!

The theme is based around BLI propaganda against killjoys as opposed to what the killjoys are actually like. You would be making some sort of visual piece (art, writing, collage, whatever you want) depicting your killjoy OC as they're seen by Better Living Industries, as well as a piece that's more representative of how your killjoy is living it up in the zones (hence the title)!

so i'm in the process of drawing my killjoysona but i made a board for her in the meantime

her name is pixie halo (inspired by headfirst for halos lyrics) and she's notorious for being the "glitter angel of the desert". more to come once i finish her drawing!!

(i did have another completed killjoy character but i realized i was doing an oc, not a sona, so i scrapped it and came up w this. xoxo)
