In his late 20’s before he left home for a life of sea and blunder.
His clan was a tribe of Wood Elf nomads that migrated with a pack of Dire wolves, whom the tribe saw as sacred. Each member has a tattoo of a wolf skull upon thier back, when you go through the different trials and tests, you earn more ‘wolf eyes’ around that skull. Hagar ran away at a young age so he only has the one. He wouldn’t be welcomed back even if he wanted to, though still respects the tribes ways and traditions even to this day.
