Experimenting with firing times this week, a difference of 40 degrees makes a massive different between the finished colouring of the plates. The one on the right is 1040 degrees and 50 minute soak, the one on the left is 1000 degrees and 30 minutes soak. Each cycle takes 24 hours to complete so need to get this right as I will hopefully be firing around 200 plates in one go @darwenterracotta next Monday ready for my install @salford.museum next week!!
