Man, it’s been so long since he last saw Gon... the Dark Continent trip felt like years have passed, despite barely being just one. It was an amazing experience and he learned a lot, but... there was always this lingering emotion in the back of his head that kept bothering him every single week: Man, does he miss Gon. Something about that dummy’s energetic attitude just... brighten up his day like nothing else.
That’s why he’s on this ship to his Island, to see him again, not only because he misses the kid, but also he wanted to check up if he had any lingering effects of those times he was hospitalized. Gon might be tough, but he had it way too bad, so there’s a chance that he might have suffered some after-effects of that event, he had to make sure the kid was okay.
The young doctor was walking on the outside of the ship, looking for something to do until he stumbled a rather familiar white-haired boy with a piercing gaze.
“Oh, Kil... going to visit Gon too, huh?” Leorio inquired as he noticed the young boy leaning against the handle of the boat. This was actually quite a surprise for the doctor, seeing as he hasn’t seen the kid since the Election. Last he heard, the boy has turned into some kind of nomad with his little sister, he’s not sure of the details, it’s a lot of family drama that the kid wouldn’t appreciate if he got too nosy about.
With a small smirk, the male approached the boy and gave a light pat on the head, it felt weirdly nostalgic to see the boy again, although they were never all that close, he always liked the little brat, despite his murderous tendencies, after all there’s one thing that keep them connected: Their affection towards Gon. “Well look at that! You’ve grown haven’t ya? A couple of years and I ain’t gonna have to look down to see you anymore.”
