OK current day look of Tempest, with the battle damage, storages installed, railgun ammo (straps made from Levan hide), and some other things. Scarf is kind of a ref to red sprites as part of his whole thunderstorm theme. Bonus Kim Ryder and the Scrunk bike.
Small wip of a scale chart thingie of some of my world building. Tree will be posted later when I finish the sheet it's on (it has a massive write up). But this includes my main characters for now, with Tempest (the mech), Kim Ryder (the human), and Zzar'koth (the primordial dragon), as well as a couple of the false-dragon breeds (Cavalier and Fire-throated).
I think Tempest is mostly laid out now. More to add obviously, and put lines and colors on it. But it was quite a change from his original design from like...8 years ago lol. But yeh, very yuusha and gundam inspired as well as various other things that'll get written out eventually.
A friend of mine helped get his tail figured out by giving me a rough 3D model design to use as a reference. Thanks Jet. Another friend of mine helped design the bike as well. Thanks Scrunk.
This is also like...his first built look, when he was all clean and pretty. Current day he'll have dings, claw marks, broken pieces, etc. I have a lot of fun lil noted I'll be adding to this (like the optics you see are not his actual optics or sensors).
I also finished a massive write up for his pilot, Kim Ryder. Been doing a lot of writing lately it seems.
Ok Tempest's lines are essentially done (tho I do need to add more stuff for info and whatnot, but at least the overall design is down). The left line set will be shrunk down later, but that's basically his "clean" lines, when he was first built.
The right one is several years later, after he's had some adventures and such, so he's more beat up, damaged, and had some other additions, like a scarf (cuz dramatic), a cockpit in his chest (that he didn't ask for lol), metal spikes he uses as makeshift railgun bullets (he figured out how to use his tail as a makeshift railgun), plus some storage compartments, the ones on his hips are his own personal ones, but the one on his outer right leg is for the bike, and the smaller one on the outer left leg is for his pilot, Kim Ryder, to use.
He also has several sensors and cameras throughout his body, such as on his knees, elbows, top of arms, shoulders, tail, and on the crest on his head. The "eyes" that you see are false, and he does not actually perceive anything thru them. They are just there for social interactions essentially, to give someone else a focus spot when talking to him, as well as help him show his own emotions and such.
Anyways, I have way more notes and such, so the finished pic will have a lot to read.
Scribbling a bit...or trying to anyways...getting berated by a lil weasel for doing something stupid, and you know it was stupid, so you can't really argue back lol.
One of many wips, but I've been working lately on updating some old characters of mine and getting their world figured out. Doubt anyone here remembers Tempest (I first made him back in 2018), but he's getting a rehash, and a big write up, along with his pilot, Kim Ryder.
His world is a fantasy/scifi setting, similar to those like in Final Fantasy, Escaflowne, Megaman Legends, etc. Yes, we got giant robots, giant creatures, giant dragons, giant ships, and tons of other things.
