(A not so) Temporary Showroom
(By Lisa Filippini)
Martin Premužić is the business manager of Temporary Showroom, an unique spot on Kastanienallee, Berlin. Its team is formed by Kim (Press) and Elli (Sales Assistant), Philipp, Tom, Sara, Tim and I. Kim is also the founder of Komment, the Ready-to-Wear Berlin Haute Couture line for Kimberit, launched last season by Temporary Showroom.
It all began in ‘99, when Martin and his university friends needed a place where they could talk freely about art. As a result, they decided to rent a space which soon became famous for its art exhibitions and gallery openings. In order to pay the bills, the gallery mutated into a shop for design objects, clothing and art. In 2004 Martin launched a friend's clothing collection, and from then on he has never turned his back on fashion.

Temporary Showroom is sales, press, public relations and collection presentations all in one, on a national as well as international level. We are looking forward to January, when the shop will undego a further transformation.
