New #review Two Scoops of Hellfire by #KimberlyLemming I really wanted to like this little short because it had the potential to be an incredibly fun story. Instead, it just felt rushed. I think it would have been much better as a longer version in which Daisy and Kain actually developed a rapport instead of boning almost immediately after she accidentally summons him during a buttercream cupcake mishap.  And while Kain the Destroyer mourns the fact that he's just a battle demon instead of an incubus, I'd say he really gave the latter a run for their money. New #review A Bump in Boohail by #KimberlyLemming Unfortunately, I was less impressed with this Mead Realm short story than I've been with the bigger books.  I just felt like everyone was super mean in this story, which was contradictory to how most of them are in the other stories. New #review #Mistlefoe by #KimberlyLemming I wasn't really paying attention to the numbers in the titles when reading these, so I'd actually read That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf before this one, but that doesn't make such a big difference. Even though Mistlefoe is primarily about Ruby and Lucca's whirlwind romance, Alexis the talking sword really steals the show. This book gives you her origin story, which is briefly hinted at in TTIGDYLPW. Kimberly Lemmings' books just crack me up. She's got some great one-liners going on that make me actually laugh out loud at times. And it's not just the dialogue that's spicy because the sex scenes are even hotter! Somebody get me some ice water to cool me down!
