You're my favorite.//So I have this weird theory that people's personality reflects their birth month...I mean, everyone wants to be best friends with October and December (and July too, I think). And then, it was a New Year. And a time for endings and beginnings. A season of goodbyes and hellos. And man, was it hard. Like slowly pulling out stitches and resetting a broken bone all at once. I can literally say I wouldn't be here if it weren't for this man. For helping me realize it was time to go even when there was nowhere to go, for spending countless hours in Chinatown government offices in the dead of NY winters, for packing up our life while I cried in the bathtub, for driving me home, for getting me on that 14 hr flight, for holding my hand in the love motel that first night and every night, for taking me on adventures I never could've imagined, for being by my side through it all.
