My prayers were heard and Aitsuki Nakuru finally did another chu2-like song, and it was: Good. I wouldn’t call it a homerun (even though the beats are by the absolute genius Tsukagoshi) but it’s refreshing to see her coming back to these types of sounds because I’ve been starved for this comeback ever since applephilia.
The whole album is actually pretty neat, she formed this unit called La prière along with Nayuta and Itsuki Natsume (who do the chorus for this one) and the tone of the album is pretty consistent all throughout. They also got Butada Hikari to do the character designs I think, which is pretty funny because I got all excited thinking she was singing in a new album when in reality she was just drawing, those darn multi-talented people always betraying expectations by being good at everything amirite. also REALLY funny is that they thought they were so smart doing greek words but their booklets actually came out with a misprint because the printer/format couldn’t handle some special characters, so they have actual lyrics patch notes on the album’s website so that’s pretty fucking funny if you ask me
