My humble thank you
I have loved Sherlock Holmes since I was a young girl (I’m 47 now). I grew up with Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce as my Holmes & Watson. The Woman in Green and Terror by Night probably being my favorites. But five minutes into “A Study in Pink” I was hooked. This “John & Sherlock” are extraordinary. You have captured the dynamic between these two men like no one before you. It is absolutely the smartest show on TV. We just don’t have this type of quality in American television. As John Watson would say, we have a bunch of “crap telly.” It is an honor to watch such an intelligent and visually beautiful show; amazing acting, writing, music, etc. Mr. Moffat I am an awe of your talent!
It is hard for me to put my feelings into words. I am just an average person. I work full-time, I’m raising two children and I have everyday highs & lows. But your show … your Sherlock has added such happiness & joy to my otherwise ordinary life. I care so deeply for these characters. They are like members of my family. It is so important to me that I get the opportunity to tell you thank you for all of the obvious hard work and effort you put into this wonderful show. I am so very grateful to everyone involved in bringing Sherlock to life.
