Neutronoid

A prototype Mixel that was born to replicate the abilities of a specific Mixel’s element. She may not be as colorful as most Mixels, but she’s able to morph her biology when exposed to any tribe element.

“Okay,” Alex says, “how do I look?”

Kimmy told herself she wouldn’t cry at her mother’s wedding. She might cry at her mother’s wedding.

“You look great,” Kimmy says, smoothing Alex’s lapel. “You look amazing.”

“Oh, sweetie.” Alex kisses Kimmy’s forehead. “You’re still okay with this, right? If you aren’t-”

“What, you’ll call off the wedding right now?” Kimmy asks.

“If you weren’t okay with it, yeah.”

“Mom, I’m more than okay with it,” Kimmy assures her. “I love Kelly, and I know you love her, and I know she loves you. I’m just... I’m really happy, and you look really beautiful, and I’m trying not to cry but if I keep talking about it I will.”

“Oh, no,” Alex says suddenly, “if you cry, then I’ll cry, and then people will know I can cry, and-”

“Mom, everyone here knows you can cry.”

“That doesn’t mean I want them to see it!”

Kimmy laughs, rubbing at her eyes with her knuckles. “We won’t cry, then.”

“You’re sure I look good?” Alex asks, looking down at her suit. “I shouldn’t have worn a dress?”

“You look amazing in your suit,” Kimmy assures her. “And Kelly will look amazing in her dress, and you two will be the most amazing couple ever.”

Alex smiles. “We will, won’t we?”

“You will.”

Alex nods sharply. “Alright. Good. No crying.”

“No crying,” Kimmy agrees.

(She cries like a baby when Alex and Kelly say their vows, but so do half of the other guests, so Kimmy thinks she’s justified. The tears don’t stop her from having the biggest smile in the room when her two moms kiss.)

Where I got their names

Ai asked kat a question about her oc names and she posted a nice  long thing so i thought i should do it too :) this is gonna be long 

UPDATE 4/12/2020: added my MISC ocs  

Kim - my first oc, based off me the most, i made her in 2012. my name is kim. you get the idea

Giza - Giza was originally evil ( i made them when i was 12 ok) and lai told me that giza means ‘dark’ in swahili. it stuck.

Seuk - full is ‘seukutchi’ the other hangul is spelled “seukechi” its basically a pun for  “sketch” because she was an artist when I made her.

Beta - since beta and seuk used to be the same person (IE:  beta’s edgy design, seuk’s personality) when i finally remade her, me and lai kept calling her “beta seuk” then beta.

Chrys - her full name is  Chrysanthemum, which is a beautiful flower :)

Drake -  the name ‘drake’ reminded me of dragon, which are powerful.  he’s powerful.  my creative thought process apparently.

Rosedelia - rose, the flower, but cooler.

katherine - kim’s mom. my moms name is kathy. 

Durahdria / Chrothontic -  I came up with them on my own, I thought they sounded cool.

Fantasma - spirit witch leader. fantasma is “ghost” in spanish

Peter / Edgard - they were worse villanious characters when I first made them, so i picked out names I thought were “ugly” LOL

The demons

Damion - different spelling of “damien” which is son of satan. hes directly below satan in power ranks.

Geno - Originally a persona, i named her “genocider” based off a character I liked back then. Shortened it to be less weird.

Rae - Originally named Reria. She was based off a little girl i met in one of my dreams when I was younger. Shortened it to Rae when I remade her :)

MISC

Autumn - She was born in one of the "autumn" months, September... also based off me, and fall is my favorite time of the year.

Kalt - Autumn’s brother. Kalt means “Cold” in German. He was born in December. he was also originally a persona of mine.

Raven - Originally a nickname given to her by one of her foster parents for her  “Black, raven hair” the name stuck the most. Also it’s lowkey edgy which Raven likes.

Aiko - Aiko’s main aesthetic is “love’. Ai = love in Japanese. :)

“How many coffees is that?”“You try having a toddler who refuses to go to bed.” - Alex and Lena

“Alex? I wanted to- My god, how many coffees is that?”

Alex groans and buries her face in her hands. “You try having a toddler who refuses to go to bed,” she mumbles.

“That is... honestly unhealthy,” Lena says, looking at the veritable stack of empty coffee cups. “You’re going to cause heart damage.”

“It’s either that or fall asleep at work, and I can’t fall asleep at work,” Alex replies. “I can’t wait for Kelly to come back from visiting her mom, because I really can’t handle being on call every night. Single moms are so strong.”

“Would a babysitter help?” Lena asks tentatively.

Alex looks up. “Are you volunteering?”

“I’m awful with kids,” Lena says quickly. “But maybe you could ask Kara, or J’onn.”

“They’re both just as busy as I am, though,” Alex moans.

“Well, if you switched off, it might work,” Lena replies. “And I’m sure they’d be willing to have a sleepless night or two if it kept you from literally giving yourself a heart attack from caffeine.”

“I’ll ask J’onn,” Alex decides. “Kara’s got her big article, but J’onn said business was slow, so maybe he can take a night.” She looks at Lena. “I need to sleep so badly.”

“I can tell,” Lena agrees. “Maybe you should take the rest of the day off.”

“I’ve got stuff to do!”

“Alex, you’re about to fall asleep right there. Take the day off, get J’onn to watch Kim for a night, and get some rest.”

Alex sighs deeply. “Fine, but only because you asked nicely.”

Lena grins. “Goodnight, Alex.”

“Night, Lena.”

“And for God’s sake, lay off the coffee.”

“Yeah, I’m not making any promises.”
