I have a few things I want to say about the ending. After going through the Naruto and Bleach endings I was a little worried. I liked the way Naruto ended but I had a few issues with it. I did not like the final chapter of Bleach and there are many reasons why including by defiantly NOT limited to the ships (ex plot holes, MIA characters, what the freack even happened to the villain?)

However having followed Rave I had faith in the author and to be honest he did not disappoint me. The only thing I wanted for the final chapter was the guild having a party, celebrating something before team Natsu headed off on another job to let Lucy and the others pay her rent. After all that’s what I fell in love with for this series. Not the shipping, not the magic, just a group of kids who have no other place to go forming a family on their own that is stronger than any other bond and having fun as they look on the bright side of life.

I understand that a few people are disappointed with the ending. I’m not going to say that you shouldn’t be, all I’m going to ask is that you not get angry and send hate mail to the author. I feel somethings are a little justified but at the same time I personally like it.

I love tat we see how people are doing! Chelia is learning magic again, being overseen by proud big brother Lyon! Ichiya has succeed Bob as the next guild master of Blue Pegasus. Crime Sorcire was pardoned, by the princess...I’m sorry now Queen! Mermaid heel are doing some modeling now...not really sure what that is about but ok. Makerov has lasting effects from saving everyone an will probably retire from being guild master soon. Laxus, you’re up! And everyone in the Fairy Tail guild made an appearance in the last two chapters!!! I also love the focus on the kids! After all, Cana, Gray, Erza, Levy, Natsu, Mira, Elfman, and Lisanna all grew up together. The ending had a lot with them and their interactions with each of the newer people. Also all of Laxus ‘ships’ were people he grew up with as a child!

I have to say though, while I don’t get obsessed over the shipping I do like some of them, so I was glad for the small shipping moments. I thought they were handled well for the characters, but I know that isn’t what people wanted.

For Gajeel and Levy, both Lucy and Wendy think they heard Levy tell Gajeel about a baby. Honestly that was probably the first ship to actually become ‘canon’ and truthfully they probably just haven really told anyone in the guild about it except Droy and Jet yet.

As for Gruvia the comment about Juvia’s body being Grays was a little weird, but Gray has always been a awkward mess in those situations. I feel like the context may have been a little messed up in that situation, but other then that Gray confirming he likes Juvia back made me happy. That is my otp after all. I do have to say a very big thank you to the antigruvia ship though! I have gruvia stuff all over my blog because I think they look beautiful together. I understand why some people don’t like it and I really want to thank you all for not harassing the people who do! There are some anti fans who harass people who do ship something and you guys are really nice as an overall group. Anyway back to what I was saying, just like Gajeel and Levy we have confirmed that the feelings between them are mutual.

Then Kinanna and Cobra (Erik) are confirmed to be dating, which made me so happy. There is also a possible confirmation on Elfman and Evergreen dating which was cute. Then Lucy (Mishima) just left Laxus in the air with Mirajane, Lisanna, and Cana. Honestly I liked that too.

The other big one people are upset with is Jellal and Erza. Honestly I liked that better as well. I like that it focused more on Jellal finally being a free man. We’ve known this whole time that they share mutual feelings, they have for a while. For Jellal however there are many things he has to do before he can ask Erza to spend her life for him. The first is to be a free man again. The second is to build a life for them, and Erza knows this. That is why she is patiently waiting for him.

Then the biggest issues I’ve seen was Nalu. So the best description of this that I saw and personally agreed with was that they have mutual feelings, but Lucy honestly doesn't know how to act on it, and neither does Natsu. However they are not fully ready yet to become a couple (Lucy is still like 19 guys. Not every 19 year old is ready for a committed relationship). Natsu tells her it’s ok, and that they will be together forever.

However what got me the most was team Natsu leaving again on the 100 year quest. They are so confident in their abilities that they are going off on a job that has been requested for a hundred years that no one has yet to complete, I love the character development!

Like really, Lucy and partially Wendy would have been nervous before. Lucy would be thinking about getting out of how dangerous it was (back in the beginning) an Wendy would be worried about holding back her friends. Both women however are so sure of themselves and the people they are with they are excited about it. Natsu is being recognized by Makerov and the council as improving to the point he can handle an S-class quest! Gray isn’t afraid either. Gray had actually not wanted to go on an S-class quest because honestly ever since Deliora he had set his own limits. He usually tried not to do things he could not handle anymore and when he was faced with a challenge he couldn’t meet his response was to die. Now however he won’t do that. He can handle this, and if he can’t his friends can because he has to come back for Juvia.

So the last thing we see is this happy team heading off to their next adventure, because that is what Fairy Tail is! It’s the never ending adventure, a quest to answer the question of what may or may not exist.

Kinanna One-Shot

(A psudeo-request by @siebewastaken as a bedtime story, typed out on my phone)

“Anna have you seen my goggles? I thought I left them on the counter…”

Kina stuck her head into the cupboard where Anna liked to hang out when she was visiting, to no avail.

“Anna?”

A thump came from upstairs.

“…Anna?” the half-dragon called again, ascending the stairwell. Pushing the door to her bedroom aside she found her target, posing in front of a mirror with Kina’s old armour hastily strapped onto her torso, goggles pulled down over her face.

“Hey look!” exclaimed the pink girl excitedly, “I’m a champion!”

“…a what?”
