Carla is supposed to become an ally for Kate when she returns so it looks like Baby Connor has the two matriarchs of the Connor family having her back.

omg what is my life, I’m getting anon messages about Coronation Street loool.But yessss I know and I’m so excited :-D The spoilers that I read said that Michelle tells Carla about Kate and Rana, and then when Carla approaches Kate about it, Kate reveals to Carla about Michelle robbing the bistro, which Michelle had conveniently neglected to mention haha.considering the way it has been framed, I would say it seems more like Carla will actively support Kate and have her back (she knows she has no room to judge), whereas Michelle is simply in a mutually beneficial arrangement with Kate that is predicated on the need for the relationship to not become public … which does make me wonder if anyone will eventually get in trouble for the bistro robbery further down the line.the other spoiler I have seen floating about is that there will be some butting of heads between Carla and Michelle, but obviously we don’t know yet whether this will be over the bistro, or Robert, or Kate, or even the secret that Carla is keeping upon her return. Or maybe it’s none of those things.  Time will tell.

all I can say is that I am very ready for the oncoming drama and can’t wait for Carla’s return.  I’m quite interested to see what she makes of Rana and also how she reacts to the news that her goody two-shoes lil sis has been fraternising with a supposedly straight married Muslim woman.
