I wanted to make a cool post with something like ‘in my work i look into the future, while in my free time i study the past”, because I do astrophysics, and my hobbies are mostly history related, but then I realised:

i study the evolution of galaxies. I am literally studying a galaxy right now that is like one of the very first galaxies at redshift 6.5
