“Firkle? It's been a while dude, how are you?”

It looked like death was at Firkle’s doorstep.
The younger goth swung the door open at Pete’s arrival, a sarcastic greeting dying on his tongue at the sight of the other.
“Pete, the fuck, you didn’t say you were sick! You can barely stand up” Firkle exclaimed, showing open concern, a rare occurrence for him. His expression hardened at Pete’s words. “Don’t give me that, you look like you’re about to keel over,” the ravenette rolled his eyes. “You need to get some rest, or else you’re gonna make yourself worse.”
“Firkle. Firk. I’m fine.” Whoa, there was a delay in his thinking and his speaking, that wasn’t a good sign. Glancing back towards the street, he returned his gaze towards the shorter male in front of him, sighing softly.
“I don’t think I can make it home.” He whispered. Hopefully he would let him stay here and sleep it off. He wobbled for a moment, gripping onto the doorframe for balance. He hated that he threw himself at Firkle like this to take care of him, but he’d make it up to him later.

Ike was sitting in class, finishing off some last minute work, not paying attention to anything apart then that until he heard the teacher call out to the class. “Ok class, for this next assignment, you’ll be working in pairs,”. Ike raised an eyebrow as he looked at the teacher. Usually, in the pairs he got assigned into, he did all the work. But maybe this time would be different. Who knew? “Alright, so...Ike Broflovski, I’ve got you paired up with...Firkle Davis,” the teacher read off the sheet. Ike took a quick glance over at Firkle, before looking back at the teacher. He didn’t know how this would work out. But it would definitely be better then some of the other partners he has had previously.
