I’ve been watching A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix, and they’ve done the books so much justice. I was skeptical at first, but in all, I'm pleased.

A star created 1,800 years ago after the collision of two distant suns is set to appear in the night sky for the first time – as the light from the crash finally reaches the Earth.
Scientists predict that for six months in 2022, stargazers will be able to witness the birth of the new star, by fixing their telescopes near the Pisces and Cygnus constellations. Dubbed the Boom Star, it has taken nearly two millennia for its light to reach earth — where it will be able to be seen by the naked eye. Astronomers expect the collision to increase the brightness of the pair ten thousand fold, making it one of the brightest stars in the heaven for a time. The explosion, known as a Red Nova, will then dissipate and the star will remain visible in our skies as a single bright, but duller, dot.

Butters was busy with organising the CDs when Pete walked round the counter. He hummed softly and organised them alphabetically. Butters squeaked and whimpered as Pete told him to ‘be a good boy’, his hand quickly covering his mouth when he realise what he’d just done.
The boy blushed deeply and slowly turned around to face the other, shaking slightly as tears welled at his eyes “I’m sorry… I-I didn’t mean that… p-please don’t… just… I’m not weird…” he whimpered shyly still from behind his hand, suddenly turning around again to keep organising the CDs “H-Have a nice smoke break Pete!” He squeaked, trying to act like nothing had happened.
That little noise Butters made had Pete stopping in his tracks for a brief moment. He probably wouldn't have thought anything of it, had he not heard the other try to explain himself- poorly. But before he could think on it any further, he rushed outside to get that sweet nicotine into his system.
One cigarette later, Pete had some time to think. Why would he possibly make that noise from what he said? There were a few explanations, but one seeming more likely than the rest. Taking a deep breath, he walked in and looked over at Butters, who was still nervously arranging CD's. "Mind explaining what that was?" He asked as he moved to pass him to head back to where he was.
