@kindheartedmage seems to be in need of help
“Whoa there buddy, that’s gonna drop on yer head if ya ain’t careful!” And he reaches up and past him, pulling the heavy volume the boy had been aiming for out of the shelf. “That one, was it? Here ya go!”
@kindheartedmage
The library of Saronia may not have been as grand and imposing as others he had seen in his travels, but it was a magnificent one nonetheless. The selection of books here tended to differ quite a bit from what one usually saw at a kingdom’s library, and in some fields and topics it veritably outshined even such institutions as the Alexandrian library.
Take for example, the extensive research that was collected here on the topic of the Crystals and the Dark World was unrivaled. It was a pity that especially the later had very little practical application though...
Be that as it may, today the Burmecian was here for something else anyway: Books regarding magic that manipulated the flow of time. Such books were often hard to come by in other libraries, as the use of such magic was quite strictly prohibited, but maybe he’d be lucky here, where one wouldn’t expect such literature?
“Uhm, excuse me, honorable archivar? I happen to be on the lookout for books concerned with temporal manipulation, and I was wondering if you could point me the right way per chance?”

There’s something about children that draws Cloud’s attention; they’re just that much more interesting than adults with their adult problems, and this one is looking at the display window of a high level mage shop. It makes him stop and marvel.
“So, are you gonna buy somethin’?”
@kindheartedmage
“Fire... Fira... Firaga. Fire, Fira, Firaga...” With a tome borrowed from the young mage, he took it upon himself to give himself a better chance with magic. After all, his skill... sort of loosened up after a long time of not using any spells. Arc was a boy whose own specialty belied his shy demeanor. It was perfect!
“Arc, it’s not working! I can’t absorb all this info, how do you manage?” He made it look easy, even. With so many spells, he was nothing short of versatile, and Bartz was... quite envious of the fact, per se.

{ thank you <33 }
☮:five things I have in common with my muse
We both really like money. And eating cheap food
A love for literature and plays
deals with problems by snarking and sarcasm
what is this emotional problem you speak of
makes up insulting nicknames for people they love
✿:five things that are different about me from my muse
I am not acrobatic or fast, unlike Zidane
How do you flirt and what is flirting
I am book smart and not street smart like him
I’m not part monkey and I wear shirts with sleeves
I’m very very very socially awkward, introverted, and have a bad case of stage fright (despite constantly performing)

❧- What is your muse’s favorite kind of food?
Zidane loves junk food. Or at least as close to junk food as you can get to in medieval times. He loves things that are roasted and have lots of potatoes.
