So I’ve been watching Anne with my friends.
He is an autistic 30 year old, and she is a autistic 27yo with ptsd, depression and they are new parents.
She has watched the older versions, and read the books. He hadn’t seen or read them. She likes the show; passionate about watching it. But it’s expected.
He on the other hand, his reaction has been priceless. He is so enthralled by the show, passionately watching every episode. He loves the characters, he loves the humour and the story and everything. I’ve heard him whisper to himself as we watch ‘we have to protect this girl’ ‘Mathew is everything a father should be’ and many more.
We watched episode 3.07 tonight, and he actually looked pained as he watched as Anne and Dianna faught, a tear came to his eye as Dianna threw the locket on the ground.
And every episode he comments on characters growth, and roots for different characters storyline’s, and every episode he says he couldn’t stand it if Mathew died.
I don’t want to see the show end, because I want to watch Him watch the show, because it is charming, and interesting to see him full of so much passion for something other than his family.
