Remember how Eleftherios Venizelos didn't want Alexander to marry Aspasia Manos because he wanted to set him up with a British princess?

Her name is never mentioned in all the Greek sources I found on the subject, but finally worked out who it is: Princess Mary, The Princess Royal:

She was four years younger than Alexander (she was born in 1897; Alexander in 1893) and she was the only daughter of King George V and Queen Mary (of Teck). I have no clue if she were indeed aware of the potential match for her (or the British government and/or BRF for that matter) but interesting to speculate how she'd have been as Queen of the Hellenes.
